hey guys. so. I'm going down to richmond, VA tomorrow to check out grad school. anyone have any suggestions on wtf to do in richmond?
If I were going to Richmond, I'd check out: Carytown - tons of shopping and walking around. My favorite record store (Plan 9 Records) is there and a great toy store, as well. 821 Cafe - AMAZING vegan-friendly cafe. Shockoe Espresso & Roastery - awesome coffee shop in historic Shockoe Slip. Capital City Ale House - If you're a beer drinker, this is a must.
If you're driving take a drive down Monument Ave. I'd also drive down to Tredegar Iron Works and wander the Civil War museum there. There are a few other museums in town but it is my favorite. If I was in town I'd be happy to tour guide. Unfortunately, I'mnot till after the holidays. Hope you enjoy it!
After checking, I realize there is no shows tomorrow either. If You're bored and wanna add these to the list of great things RVA has to offer:
The National: Richmond's "big" venue. www.thenationalva.com Strange Matter: Vegan cafe by day, kick ass venue by night. Come watch me get down to some metal. www.strangematterrva.com

It's rolling up on 4 pm and I have only printed out a distribution sheet today. So close to 5pm, hopefully I can make it through the day doing little to no work and then get fancy for Penthouse's Naked Sushi Holiday party tonight.
I feel like you really buried the lead here. Say whaaaaaat?!

last year the sushi was served on naked girls, this year, Craig Tracey (a body painter) painted the servers. So sushi is served by nake, body painted girls. It's an open bar and strippers are still dancing on poles. Fun had by all. It really is the best holiday party in town.

I feel like food being served ON naked people would get awkward really quickly.

And warm.
I don't eat fish off fish... Vieux's number 1 rule!
I love that there's not a distinct B, but there is a distinct o in Brown.
I can't do any better. My signature looks like someone hit me in the shoulder with a bamboo cane while I was writing it.
It depends on what I'm signing. If it's a letter, my signature is totally readable. If it's a receipt, it's just complete scribbles. Like, not a single actual letter in the thing.
The Mountain Jam lineup drops in 10 minutes and Mcdowell Mountain's (a little fest in Phoenix) drops tonight. I probably won't go to either one, but with Roo clues starting early, goddamn, it's lineup season.
Dammit jumped the gun, I guess it's just one artist.

thank you!!! I appreciate the info! I'll only be up there for the day on saturday, so pending how hungover I am, hopefully I can see a few sights I'm a huge coffee & beer person, so those are some great recommendations.
There should be a thread made for best concerts of 2014 and maybe one for random awards like best new artist or whatever but I've created enough threads lately.

Hope you enjoy it. Living all over the country I can say, without doubt, RVA is home. I always come back.
I live in a duplex and the guy that lives on the first floor just asked me out on a date. He has lived there for three years and I have known about his feelings for about 2 years. If I was interested, doesn't he think something would have happened by now? #waytomakethingsawkward
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

He's probably having a heart attack over finally getting the balls to ask you out. What'd you say?

You may have known for two years, but does has he known that you've known for two years? If not, he'd have no reason to suspect that you would have made a move by now.
