Season two not season one. She's fantastic just like the show.
Oh. Anyone on her level in season one?
Carrie Coon. She is everything. She's apparently gonna be in season three of Fargo. That is enough to make it almost certain I'll start watching it at some point.
Edit: The Leftovers is my favorite show on television, so I am really biased.
I hate being so tired that I can't sleep. Which always seems to happen when I have to be up early. There has to be a scientific explanation behind why this happens.

Wait wait wait. You haven't seen Fargo (the TV series) yet? That's really surprising! You would really like it, I think.

Fargo is must watch. Dave Maynar - do yourself a favor and binge it as soon as you can. Both seasons are incredible. There were lots of comparisons to True Detective when they were airing (not so much for subject matter but that both were anthology series that were enlisting some big name actors and big storylines) but by Season 2 it was clear Fargo was the winner. They blew season 2 of True Detective out of the water.
Fargo has been on the list for a bit. That and Peaky Blinders have been neck and neck for new series to watch.
everyone's been raving about peaky blinders, but I couldn't even get remotely engaged into the premier episode. I know that's a terrible way to judge it, but I can't get past how boring it was.

Want to watch together? Well, obviously not together, unless you want to move near me, which I think is a wonderful idea. I need a new show now I am done with FNL.

It doesn't have a lot of big action but I really loved the premiere episode. It was mostly world-building and setting up for the characters. I liked a lot of the reveals that happen later on in the episode and can't wait to get through more.

I feel like I need to take adderall before I try watching it again.
I will say again, that if you don't watch Peaky Blinders with subtitles on, you're really doing yourself a disservice.
No fucking shit. I started it last night. I told my husband, your'e going to have to turn on subtitles, I can't understand a damn word they are saying.

Ain't, kinda accents do they have?
British/Irish. Takes place in post-WWI Birmingham, England.
I'm a feminist. But I feel absolutely crushed by the women around me who enjoy crushing men for not being good enough to overcome the training they have observed. That it's a prize to make them cry for the lack of understanding. That we are all pigs for have a biological incentive to be attracted to other beings; I guess I'm tired esp. as a black man who identifies with feminism being called a pig constantly. Consciously or sub-consciously by pure anger. I understand pure anger - but it's like black men aren't allowed to have anything complicated about their thoughts. We are part of the perpetrators of anti-feminist sentiments through various forms, thus all of us are just as bad right? And the more woke folks who give a shit about what's going on will never be good enough until we heal the problems all of females first.
It's all very paradoxical for someone who isn't stuck on masculinity. And appreciates their partner but feels that there is a strong contingent that all men are evil.
