Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Daft Punk and Blur would rank on this list but I don't agree with them meeting the criteria so I'm leaving them off the ballot a la baseball HOF steroid ommitter.
This thought exercise also depends on the level of pedantry you wanted to apply to the early 00s part. I was probably already over Interpol by the time Vampire Weekend existed but I was ride or die on Interpol in the actual early 00s so that's what I'm going with. Thanks for reading.

After two years fallow, I’m thinking of picking back up with Instagram. My negative views on the toxicity of social media are really at war with how isolating it can be to swear off of it, especially as an older person with a kid who can’t get out a ton. I feel like I’ve gone invisible for a lot of my friends and acquaintances the past couple of years.
Wait, The Black Keys and The Flaming Lips are not even options? I call shenanigans. I'd take The Hives and The Black Lips over most of those listed, too.

One time I took a “seasonal” break from instagram & I came back to 50+ messages that included a couple parties I was invited to but missed.
My cousins make me even use Snapchat for our group text. There’s no getting out of it, if I want to know what’s going on.
I most follow work stuff (grants, institutions, residencies), professional friends, and personal relationships I actually care about. As soon as someone I don’t need to know about starts annoying me, I mute them.

What happened to the Black Keys? They were everywhere and then…not.

Also I stopped using Facebook years ago and back in 2017 my uncle on my bio dad’s side died and I didn’t hear about it for almost a year. Missed the funeral because they only communicated on Facebook.
instagram is absolutely awful now because most of the stuff it shows you is generated by the algorithm. i rarely ever see my friends posts anymore aside from stories. still holding strong against getting tik tok but instagram has turned into a tik tok lite at this point

Instagram is a tiktok graveyard anyway.
There is a feature where you can see your “favorites” on the feed, which is how I scroll. Makes it a lot easier / less time suck.
