Last night/this morning at about I remembered the rice pudding I got when I got take out from an arab restaurant. So at 2:30 am I'm standing in the kitchen eating pudding and thinking to myself that I didn't eat my meat, but i'm still eating pudding.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I say its their fault for putting the coffee machine in the kitchen. They should know coffee on top of last nights dinner and beer is gonna require a 20minute break around 10am.

Today I'm doing salary reviews with everyone that works in my department. I wish this was going to be easy, but I know it's not. Thank god for beer at home.
So I was listening to my Bonnaroo playlist just now and "Ludacris - Get Back" came on and without thinking I raised the roof with my hands. This caused some awkward looks from my co-workers. Damn you Luda!
At this point i have 14 minutes till i can leave work. So perusing the message boards thought i'd make a post out of boredom.
I don't understand how traffic starts on highways in the morning. As a math major i studied traffic flow, and it makes sense on roads where there are a lot of starts and stops. And i it makes sense say when their is construction and lanes have to merge. But like when a cop has someone else blatantly pulled over. Or even over crowding on the road. At some point there are 3 people (3 lanes) that are just like "quack this i'll go 30 on a 65 mph road." Like wtf people continue going the speed limit there is no need to slow down when a cop has SOMEONE ELSE pulled over, or there are a bunch of cars on the road.
Traffic is the bane of my existence i've decided. Bonnaroo traffic is different, becuase i know i will be in the greatest place on earth soon.
I don't remember the details but I read a paper on traffic a few years back that talked about how slowing begins. Basically the idea was when the highways are full one person hitting their breaks for a moment can cause serious slowing. The drivers' reactions compound over time. Basically one driver slows from 60-55 breifly, the next few drivers slow to 50, 40 and so on.

This makes sense. You can probably compute that. And i did think of that it just is infuriating to me. But hey, what can you do you know?
interesting analysis. I for one am always amazed how traffic can go from being stop and go to speed limit in a snap, and then back to stop and go, on the Atlanta highways for no apparent reason.

I commuted between Athens and Indian Trail/Lilburn for 2 years. I feel your pain.

oof. definitely get that checked .. my dad was dropping Tums like candy for a few months - ended up being a much more serious intestinal issue in combination w. diabetes that was not diagnosed yet. Probably not as serious, but his diet had a LOT to do with it
That's a lot of antacid for someone who seems under 30?

Im 36. I have been chalking (heh) it up to a specific issue that has been bothering me for about that amount of time. Without getting too specific, it has to do with a girl. Which is weird, because I don't really sweat women. Its subsiding, but if I keep slamming these things like candy for another week, I will head to the doc.
In the last two weeks, I've had more shows than sleep. Due to that, plus my insomnia, I may be single-handedly sustaining the fair trade coffee industry.
Also: June is apparently a very popular month for procreative activities. I have 21 friends with March birthdays!

So what you are saying is that there should be more Bonnaroo baby making....
Done and Done.
Side note: My superior at work and I are wearing the same exact color shirt. It is really bothering me, i'm having on of those looking good days and it is harshing my mellow..... I wish white v necks were acceptable work attire so may remove this shirt.

A co-worker and I wore the exact same shirt one time. Same color. Same brand. Same cut. We were also both wearing khakis. We heard a lot of jokes that day.
I hate wearing work uniforms because they make me feel awkward all over. But at least you escape the awkwardness of matching clothes that aren't supposed to match!
I work on the phone all day. Just accidentally told a customer "love you" as I was wrapping up a conversation. And it's only 11:30am. Wow.
