They were awesome. One of the greatest bands to come out of Australia, imo. Calenture is essential (as is Born Sandy Devotional) but I always reach for The Peel Sessions.

yeah I definitely liked it, it's no ACDC but I liked it more than most inxs. definitely had more of a dream pop vibe than a lot of "folk" labeled things.

I have a friend that stopped talking to me for two years because I said I didn't like INXS. I'll forever watch my mouth about that now.
Triffids always reminded me of an Australian version of The Waterboys (another criminally under rated band imo). If you're ever searching for stuff to listen to and you don't know them, dig in.
I’m on my 12th Sonic Youth album in the last 2 days. I’ve started listening to more music at work. I was thinking of bands that I like a lot but never listened to the whole catalogue. I think Pavement and Steely Dan are up next. Might take some recommendations after that .
