Sorry if this thread exists, but has anyone been watching Louie this season? Absolutely hilarious! The Dane Cook episode was the most surreal thing I've ever seen in my life.

I'm behind on this season and have only seen the first three episodes, but it has been exceptionally good this season. The scene where his neighbor throws the water jug onto the car last season... there have already been like 10 of those, and I love them.

Wasn't Cook accused of stealing some of CK's jokes, a couple of years ago? I've totally forgotten about this show, I need to look into some past episodes.

Yeah, they talk about it in the episode.
It's such a great show. I would say that this season has been less "funny" than last season, much darker, but definitely in a good way.

I recently found out that Denis Leary also stole a bit from Louie. It was a real money making bit too. The song "I'm an asshole." Truly pathetic. CK is such a great comedian though that I don't think it even bothered him that much. He is constantly coming up with new material. Long live this great show.
Louie CK is a comedic God, with an upper case G. The stand up bit from the last episode where he talks about farting into his pillow when he was young and that ruining him for the rest of his life was really f*cking hilarious.
The bum being decapitated by a city bus/ blueberries and vag cream episode I can't even bring myself to delete off my DVR.
That whole 5 minute long scene where he's going on and on about the ignorance of humans and how close they are to death and all that, ending with him telling that story to the girl, is one of the funniest things I've seen on TV in forever. (That wasn't a run on sentence was it?)
"Vagiteenn in aisle 7, condoms in aisle 10, and we ain't got any blueberries."

Supposedly he stole jokes from Bill Hicks as well.
"I have a scoop for you. I stole [Leary's] act. I camouflaged it with punchlines, and, to really throw people off, I did it before he did." - Bill Hicks
I didn't really follow the first season and am catching up, but along with Wilfred, those are the only two weekly must-sees for me these days.

KDogg, where is that from? I have all of his CDs and DVDs except the most recent ultimate collection and American and I am not familiar with that statement. Also have a book that I need to finish one of these days...

All hail Bill!
It's from an old interview somewhere. There's a whole section of the Bill Hicks Wikipedia page dedicated to Denis Leary ripping off his act. There's also a whole section of the Denis Leary Wikipedia page dedicated to Denis Leary ripping off other comedians.
