The whole atmosphere at Burning Man looks too dusty and dry to me. I think it is cool how during the day, everything has a flat, bland color to it, and at night, everything seems to come to life. This is an idea Bonnaroo could steal. At night, yes, in some ways, Bonnaroo comes to life, but I feel like there is more potential here to be harnessed. interactive art installations could easily do this. I make this argument in me other thread on this board.
The Art of Such and Such is a Burning Man crew that Roo hired for a few years. They brought those really cool flaming metal sculptures. At Burning Man their are literally hundreds of amazing art installations created by thousands of incredible talented and imaginative artists. If Bonnaroo were to simply hire a half dozen of these artists to bring their massive projects that have already been built, it would instantly cement Roo's reputation as a curator of not only the best music, but the best art, which would make for a more magical and unique vibe. However, it seems that as the years go on, Roo cares less and less about mind blowing art and the overall fan experience, and more about how to market their mainstream music, mailing list and advertising power to the 18-24 year old demographic.
