Who's in for Freefest? It should be a fun soggy mess!
There will be a Brunch starting at 10:00 AM. Dan and I met up with Katy Mae and ODB last year and it worked out perfectly. PM me for my phone number. Eggspectations 6010 University Boulevard Ellicott City, MD 21043-6088 (410) 750-3115 menu: www.eggspectations.com/usa/html/menu.html
For people that can't make it that early are there any ideas about meeting up? I'll be at the Pavillion most of the day: top of the hill - on the right facing the stage - near the beer vendor.
There will be a get together in Baltimore on Friday night as well: Max's Taphouse 737 South Broadway Baltimore, MD 21231
In for Brunch: Bunny & Dan abrakapokus & Maynard Lowerdeck rooter & keene
In for Freefest: Garageland itrainmonkeys Ellie krystlpeach & wifey

Maynard and I will be there for brunch. Possibly a Friday night get together. We will not be rolling in till 10pm after a 9-10 hour drive. Is it okay to post our cell numbers here?
I'm gonna say tentative. I just found out today that my wife is working 3rd shift and doesn't get home to 7:30 AM. 2 1/2 drive to Ellicott City means we will see tonight.

I will be +2 this time around. ;D
Make that a no. She gets out of work at 8 AM and no way can I make it in time.
Approx what time on Friday? Parts of the Beltway and many roads in FFX County are closed due to flooding, hopefully by tomorrow it will be all better. The usually sucky traffic is unusually sucky.
I have no idea how bad traffic is around your neck of the woods.
However, I'm looking at their website here and they have...
Friday BIG ASS Draft Happy Hour
Fridays 5 to 8pm your choice of 32oz Draft is just $6Every draft from Bud to Guinness, but not the really the high-octane beers, which you probably don't want 32oz of anyway, or the Belgians. BIG ASS Drafts are served in Big Ass Plastic Cups.
I'm hoping to get to my hotel around 5 pm or so. Might rest up a little there, then head out for dinner and whatnot. And that happy hour.

I have a feeling if this holds up, I especially will have a hard time making it there on time... I'll definitely try but I'm not a morning person. Would have to leave at 9am latest assuming no traffic.
Definitely can't make the Fri night shindig but you guys have fun! I saw a pic of flooding right near Merriweather... be careful out there!
I just can't wait to get down there tomorrow. Though the six hour drive solo is gonna suck, mucho.
It's not a bad drive at all, except for the craptastic traffic. I really want to spend some time up there next summer.
I've done it before several times. Just wish I had some company.
There's also Camp Quack & Folk (working title)... the fourth largest Inforoo related party of the year, and biggest north of the Mason-Dixon. Think 8.20, but the same weekend as Newport Folk.

Maybe Quack As Folk?
LD, glad to see you made it down there safely. I enjoy the drive in March cuz it gets warmer as you go south. Hope you and the gang have a blast at Freefest.
Oddly enough, it was warmer and sunnier up north than it was down here. The sun disappeared when I crossed into Maryland, there were some showers in spots, and it was only in the mid-upper 70s.
