Yeah Holls and ForFour!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D Quacker and Fawn- when it gets closer, let me know what I can lug over to help with the sleeping situation as far as air mattresses, cots, blankets, pillows, tents, EZ ups, whatever. If people think Camp Inforoo will be a drunken orgy... they haven't seen this thread!!!

^ C'mon up! LD says he wants more southern representation! Not only is QuackClub a legendary experience in itself, the festival is amazing! Imagine a folk-centric 'Roo but on the water where yachts and sailboats are more numerous than cars. This place rocks!
Great music, great friends, great memories: that's just the tip of the iceberg. This is hands-down one of THE coolest festivals out there.

It's a weekend fest! You could burn just 1 vacation day: a half day for travel on Fri afternoon & Monday morning (unless you can find a late-nite flight back to BNA). Problem solved! (That scenario is cutting it close, though. You're better off taking all day Friday for travel.)
Right now flights are ~$300. You can fly into several different places: Providence (PVD), Boston (BOS), or Hartford (BDL). Keep scoping deals...you'll be able to find something. Last year I flew up for QuackClub with maybe a week's planning & still got a decent flight under $400.
Depends on exactly how much you like to Bike. We are looking into the best way to move the quack club to newport and back both days. Quacker and I will work that out that detail as part of the quack club travel package. Of course everyone can do their own thing, but we will have something planned for transportation.
We'll see about that! Last year's Quack club did not involve a festival. But yes we are working on the movement of quack club
And as others have mentioned, if anyone is coming in by plane, train, slow boat, donkey... there are enough of us around that the royal 'we' can do pick ups.

I was thinking jetpacks. This is why Fawnmart works out the details. This should not be a surprise to anyone.
