Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I just emailed Quacker at work about this and he lost all concentration. I know where he will be friday night!!
Still have not finished my homework, But I'm leaning towards having two large capacity vans to move us all back and forth. That will give us flexibility in terms of early risers vs the always late etc etc. There are ways to get around a lot of the traffic if you are clever and plan ahead, but still count on an hour each way in/out.
We are hoping for several days off before NFF to prepare so anytime on friday for arrivals is fine.
Everything I have seen says a big NO on bikes on the bridge.

Great. Well, I suppose taking hopping in the car for a short stretch won't be bad. I'll park pretty much immediately after the bridge ends and we'll ride from there.
I think I know the answer to this, but there's no alcohol allowed, right? Are they strict with searching?
Right no alcohol of your own. You can buy beer and wine there but must remain in one of the two beer prisons while drinking it. (Unless you use Jedi mind tricks like Scrog and escape.)
Searches are your bags and coolers (only hand held little ones allowed) and from what i saw last year, nothing as intense as Roo. If you are not obvious, if there is a will there's def. a way.
I know this has been said many times in this thread, but it deserves being said again. Fawn and Quacker you two are incredibly awesome!
Thanks Bacon! I'm not seeing the logistics of a major group sit-down dinner coming together with so much going on. Starting to lean towards getting all sorts of good stuff together, put it in the fridge with labels, and tell everyone to take turns heating up a tray of something and bring it out when you are hungry. Plus we will have the grill with all sorts of grillables.
And just for Bonzai, I think this year we will do lobsta saute' - so it's already broken down and served in garlic butter. That way there's no way a lobsta will stare at her. Still mulling it over. But there will be plenty of fud's and bevies, and def. Breakfast buffets sat and sunday.

There *IS* a will...and thanks to this thing (which I'm seriously thinking about getting!), there *IS* a way!
Freedom Flask seems GENIUS! I mean, if an overzealous security person dares to frisk you & feels it, you can claim it's a catheter, right?
It's only like $25...and I can totally see Scrog using it!
Ummmm, EVERYONE is getting there Friday night Wilco ticket? RIGHT?! They go on sale the 13th.
I cant offer to gift tickets for wilco.. got a lot going on right now but I have the band with at the moment to order some extra wilco tickets for friday if some folks need more time. PM me.
I'd prob skip, as I'd be seeing them at Forecastle two weeks before, and not the super fan some people here are.
I can pick peeps up from the airport instead, or help with the logistics working group.
I'm ashamed to admit that while I enjoy them, I'm not crazy wild about wilco so I'll be hanging at the house friday night. Might need a volunteer to make sure Quacker remembers how to get home.
Thinks I'll make 'tags that say My Name is... If lost please return to - and put our address on it.'
We are planning for a big Folk Festival weekend again this year. We are just waiting for confirmation on a few things so I cannot release any info as to which bands will be here, which days etc…all I can say is just keep checking back with us. So sorry I can’t be more helpful to you!
Can't hurt to try. Have one out to DeerTick's management as well.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I'm thinking about getting a Wilco ticket....when do the festivities begin at Quack Club? Friday? or Saturday? Trying to figure out how early I'd have to leave to get to Wilco and catch their set....also figuring out if I'd be driving to the show or driving to Quack Club and leaving my car.
^ Drive to Quack Club & commute in with the rest of us. Since not everyone is going to the Wilco show (fawnmart is playing hostess & transportation organizer extraordinaire!), you can leave your car @ their place.
If this year is anything like last year, then Quack Club is 24/7... just depends on how much shenanigans you wanna get into & when! Friday night's mayhem is relatively mild compared to Saturday, if that helps.

^^^^ What Holls said. Any time from wed on is ok, BUT if arriving anytime between wed and lets say friday at noon - expect that you will be scripted into servitude and given tasks to get ready for the big weekend
For those that are driving a distance - start early, than crash for an hour once you get here. It's an easy place to catch your breath + R/R. : )
Looks like Holls has a good handle on when ya'll should leave the house on friday.
I have to figure out if I'll try to take off work that Friday or if I'll just go in and leave early. Will report back here when I have an answer
Achoo Achoo ... I'm so snorry dat i wont make it in today... Sik as a dawg.. achoo! Maybe it's mad cow. Sniffle. Gotta go take sum meds. Ah- ah- ah -achoo.
Sorry, I'm an enabler. I called in sick once from the beach at Waikiki

Yes 'em. From Waikiki... Only time I ever flat out lied calling in, felt really really guilty however... i then did some boogie boarding at waikiki, went snorkeling in Hunama Bay, took a drive up to the pipeline to see some surfing , and watched the sunset at Jameson's overlooking Sunset beach on the north shore.
Hopped onto my laptop that night, did a full day's work, then flew home. That one extra day was priceless and I'll never regret it!!!

Oh oh... does this confession earn me a title like your grammar goddess? I Quackin LOVE Shenanipants Enabler!!!
My mom was a principal of a school (before retirement). As a rule, they were not allowed to approve of vacation days and personal days in succession. So when a teacher needed a long vacation my mom said, "I can't approve vacation on Monday and Personal on Tuesday.. buuuuuuut if you happened to come back from vacation on Monday... and had Montezuma's Revenge on Tuesday.. I couldn't deny you a sick day." Hint hint. Nudge nudge.
