Meaning QC to Newport and back? Yes I'd prob do that Sat and Sun instead of get the parking pass myself. But I don't have any tickets to after parties. (Unless anyone has a couple extra for Deer Tick they'd be willing to sell.)

The wife and I will be coming up Friday late morning/afternoon (whenever is easiest) and will stay the night Fri and Sat nights. Leaving a bit early on Sunday. We have tickets to Wilco, and DT Fri and Sat night. We would like to use the QC trans. if possible but with all of the extra curriculars we may not be able to. We would offer to drive one of the days for anybody doing NFF/Deer Tick if the QC trans doesn't work out. We also volunteer to help with whatever is needed and let us know the easiest way to offer monetary help.

Also, Lowerdeck- I have xtras to Friday night's Deer Tick show available if you need one or two.
Thanks Stillwater. I'm still leaning towards two large capacity vans that we drive.. One stays in town for the after shows, on goes back to QC.. This is why the need for the numbers. Its looking like it may just work out ok.
Fawn, I just watched the video you posted in the Brunch thread, it brought tears to my eyes; what an awesome experience with the best people ever. You can't imagine how happy I am that this is coming up soon. I was feeling bonna-blue missing everyone.
I will certainly take advantage of QC transportation. When you have it lined up let me know and I'll pitch in on the cost.
I am bringing a massive amount of Mimosas, beer & ice, guacamole makings, one other dish tbd, and some tasty corn. I'll shop for stuff to make other fuds when I get there.
The roo dust is off my tent and I can bring it if you think anyone might want use it. I also have a really nice 6 man North Face tent I can bring as well. My (inferior) EZ Up was the only victim of Bonnaroo 2012. I am hopeful Walmart will replace it and I can bring a brand-spanking-new one.
I just happened to run across this on pinterest.. one or two dishes like this per day might be ideal since there will be a whole lot of us eating breakfast? (Note: I am a big fan of egg bakes- basically quiches without any pastry and such. An easy and healthy way to feed a lot of people eggs)
Ingredients 2 cups gluten-free rolled oats 1/3 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup walnut pieces 1 cup raspberries {any berries work} 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips 2 cups milk 1 large egg 3 tablespoons butter, melted 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 ripe banana, peeled, 1/2-inch slices
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Welp, you can officially remove me from the attending list. There are too many people on my team already out that weekend at work and I was holding out hoping someone would change their vacation plans but it appears thats not going to happen
The plan for me at this point is I will be catching a ride with Sotopop and staying at QC Friday and Saturday night for sure. Not sure what the plan is for Sunday night for me yet. I will probably be at QC. Pretty sure you can take Ron Burgandy off the list. Talked to him at Radiohead last week and him and his wife have a hotel. Catching a ride back with them, so that's why my Sunday night plans are up in the air. Gotta figure out logistics for leaving and whatnot and whathaveyou. I will be bringing my two man tent and will happily camp in whatever tiny patch of grass there is available. Thanks again you guys, for putting all of this together!!!

You got conveniently sick the same weekend you snuck out to Rhode Island

So sorry to hear that Phil ;D but after talking we understand completely. The IT world can wreak havoc on your plans. We will be missing you ya' big teddy bear.
I know some of you that are going to the Quack Club are beer drinkers, so I was thinking that since we are coming from different states that we bring in beer from our state/region. It will be a mini-beer fest of sorts and very interested what great beers you have by you. As far preference if there are any request feel free to ask one another since there are some beers we don't have access to due to beer distributing/state laws. I am thinking of being either Captain Lawrence, Sixpoint, Brooklyn, Southampton, or Blue Point since I am from the NYC/ LI area.

Great idea. We are coming up from Virginia so we will bring some local brews as well.

Anyone have experience flying with bottles? I would bring some local stuff but I don't want stuff exploding in my bags
After Moog last year, I brought two six packs and a couple bombers (750 mL bottles) in my suitcase. I put them in plastic bags, wrapped those up tight so it hopefully wouldn't leak so much. Then surrounded them with clothes in the middle of the suitcase.
Don't take it on as carry on, you won't get past security with that. They made me chuck half a water bottle due to security reasons.
Well, we weren't able to get tickets to Wilco, but we are planning on arriving at QC on friday. I'm not clear on the time or anything since that is my birthday and have no idea what the plans are for that. We will probably leave on Monday. I have an EZ up, a tent, some chairs, a folding table, a cooler and things like that so just let me know what we should bring. Should I bring food with me to share or will we all just chip in on that? I'll bring some local brews from the Western Mass area for this mini beer fest. This is my 21th birthday weekend so everyone should plan on getting smashed.
Edit: Thought Wilco was sold out... might try to swing this as a birthday gift.
Edit #2: Actually, is it sold out? Ticketmaster is being crazy on my computer right now...
