^It was great. Started out pretty slow and annoyingly chill (the crowd was sedate, to say the least). Simon and the band really picked up the pace about halfway through, including a great zydeco jam after "That Was Your Mother." A great show all around. If you get a chance check him out; he won't be around much longer.
Of course, he closed out the show with "Graceland>Still Crazy After All These Years."
I heard the crowd was veryyy sedated. I was at the new daisy a few blocks away for the drive-by truckers.. I bet it was cold out there on Mud Island. Beale was fun after the show, lots of people dressed up.
