Hey everyone! Stumbled onto these boards while browsing the Roo subreddit a few weeks back. Been lurking ever since, and finally decided to register after lineup dropped this morning. Went to my first Roo last year and bought presale for this year. I doubt there is a lineup out there that would have prevented me from wanting to relive that experience. See you all on the farm!

2nd bonnaroo is the best bonnaroo in my opinion! Welcome! Don't let the trolls ruin your vibes (but be warned we are a rowdy bunch of dicks)
Howdy, been lurking since about November. Don't know why I just decided to stop but anyways I'm from Biloxi, MS. Last year was my first Bonnaroo and for some reason I'm returning this year as well. My favorite currently active bands are: Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, MGMT, and Radiohead.

Nice! I like OS. And I appreciate that, I usually have a tough time finding much local music. I used to hang around Kress live on occasion
Hey guys - been lurking around for a while and thought I'd finally join in. 2017 will be my/my husband's third Roo...loved 2013 and (in spite of a less than ideal lineup) had a blast at 2016. Hoping for another surprisingly awesome time this summer!

Wife and I are coming from the far west for our first Roo! Very excited of course and have been to other festival and festival like events but most 20,000 or less. We have the le Bon tent but might think we want to go another route (RV, or tent camping on our own). Does anyone know if we can get a refund or sell our le Bon tent? Thanks!

I've been lurking for years but never posted. Attended 2006, 11-14, 16. Is this how you can post in other threads? I've never had the "reply" button option...
New to the forum and this will be my first Bonnaroo. Looking for some guidance since it looks like I will be flying solo.
What guidance do you need? There's a lot of great resources here.
I guess I failed to mention this is also my first festival. I know absolutely nothing short of what I have already read which isn't much. Hoping maybe someone can point in the direction of threads or something. I want to make sure I have everything I need and I'm not at a complete loss of where to go and what to do once I get there. Anything you or anyone else can offer would be great.

No problem! I think the Reddit bonnaroo wiki has a lot of great information (most of the links will bring you back here).
Always remember to drink tons of water and I highly recommend a camelback. If there's any questions you have that aren't in the guide feel free to DM me.

What my user name represents/means: When I was working down at The Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL (the place that puts on the hangout music fest) I had a gay coworker that had the same birthday as me and we got along so well. We always had a blast together and it never felt like work. Anyway, he was black and would sometimes try to talk very properly white or very ghetto (both jokingly) and during one of his ghetto bouts he dubbed me Paige Money, for whatever reason. I liked the sound of it, and it stuck. He still calls me that to this day. On insta @paigemoney was taken so I went with paigemonie and it's been a universal username of mine since.

To actually address something in your post, Into The Wild is a fascinating book in regards to how my view has changed on it as I have aged. Like Catcher In The Rye, I was feeling every bit of it when I was under 20. Several years later, not so much.

I agree with your statement about the book! It reminds me of my young days in which I believed I could be part of a transcendentalism movement. 😌
