Been lurking since just after my first Roo in' 04. Have done five total.
Seen it all go down here from Dudewheresmyroo, to Midnight Creep to Colorado Pedophile to Juggs.ETC. Favorite era was back during the tenure of such posters as SpookyMonster, SparklyBecca, etc. And CornCat !
Once met Inforooers Alyroo, Strummintheguitar, and a few others who were camped behind me in Access.
You'll typically find me in the Politics thread if I'm posting. As a professional lurker I read waaaaay more than I post by nature.
I dig kindness, solidarity, sustainability, and many many styles of music.
In fact, at nearly fifty, life has crushed me. And the only thing that has saved me again and again is music.
I dig Inforoo because it brings together people of so many walks of life, bonded by the commonality of our love of music. I have used it as an index for the arts, and a barometer of the youth. And I bet I'd whoop all of your asses at Inforoo trivia ! I watched moderator DMBfaninTN become RoofaninTN lol ! Bet 90 percent of you don't know who that is. But I don't keep up as much as I used to. So many of the name changes have thrown me.
Just want to take an opportunity to thank you all for your content and contemplations !!
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Hey ya'll been watching this forum for years and finally made an account. Went to Roo for the first time in 2019, making the more than 9 hour drive from Northeast Ohio for it. Then 2 months later I moved an hour and a half away from Roo and was so excited to have such an easy drive for future Roo's. And then the pandemic happened.... Can't wait for September

You like RKS?
No I'm the reincarnation of Jesus but instead of turning water into wine, I turn it into cocaine now. But also, yes, I love RKS.
Hey everyone! I pulled the trigger on tickets and will be going to my second bonnaroo (went in 2019). Lots to love on the lineup i especially can’t wait for the king gizz set. Excited to finally get to see some live music after this less than stellar year.

Hi all! I’ve been lurking long enough and decided to join the fun on Inforoo! This will be my first Roo and second fest period. VERY hyped and excited to see all of you
Hey guys. This will be my first Roo in September and I’m really excited. I am a little anxious about a part of it though, I will be having hip surgery in July, so I will be needing a little bit of accommodations when I get there. Haven’t heard from Bonnaroo about them yet, but hopefully soon. I emailed them last week. Anyway, I really am excited to see some bands especially Oliver tree, dashboard confessional, tame impala, and flogging Molly. I used to be into the EDM scene back in my 20s but I’ve gotten more of a alternative feel from then on. I am excited to listen to EDM and it will bring me back with so many memories. The only other festival I have been to his ultrafast two years back in min 2000s, But I have never camped, another beast of its own - my grandmother lived very close to the venue in Miami and didnt have to make any arrangements. Can’t wait to see everybody on the farm.

Welcome. Be sure and read a lot of the logistical threads on here. It will help you prepare. Bonnaroo is a true beast of its own. You really have to prepare to have a good time. When is the hip surgery? Because there will be a lot of walking no matter how you camp.
Edit-just saw July. Bring a walking stick to help. And camp in ADA.
Hey Ive been checking out inforoo for years and decided I may want to comment. Went to roo in 2009 and due to work couldnt ever get time off to go back until this year.

Hey y’all, I used to have an account here many many years ago, but have since lost access to that email, and tbh I don’t even remember my old username. Going to Roo this year for the first time since 2014 and have been really enjoying lurking here to stay updated, so I decided to make a new account. Thanks for having me back!
