Explain to me how we will know for certain he is telling the truth if we vote bonzai out and he isn't whacked?
There is no way you can say that it is plain as day that ntellier is the inspector.
I'm not 100% certain for either side, but ntell has by far the weakest arguments, shadiest tactic, and has knowingly broken the rules to cover his ass.
Duddits, I would agree with your post if Ntell wasn't all over the map with his answers. Contradictions, lies, etc.
Like I said yesterday, if he came out immediately and said "okay, guys, I'm the inspector, I screwed up and outed myself, but I'm willing to sacrifice myself to get it down to 2 mafia for the rest of the game", I'd be MUCH less skeptical.
But he didn't. He's constantly giving different answers. As someone who sifts through people's BS all day everyday, you pick up that when a person has an oft-changed story, none of the versions are true. Ntell has been consistent in his stance that bonzai is mafia, but none of the reasoning has stayed consistent.
I'm okay with either outcome, because I think it will tell us a lot of what we need to know. Either way, it's going to be a 1-and-1 in my mind. But the thought of not only voting out a townie (and having the mafia off another townie), but empowering a mafia member, is worrisome to me. I guess time will tell...
Yeah, I here you flanzOmar. Either way I feel this game is gonna go pretty fast after Day 2.
rdk, I still sense some bitterness dude. Do you HONESTLY still think I'm Mafia with EAP and Ntellier?!?
You are correct though, rdk, in this game its hard to trust or believe anyone, except for Mafia because they are the only one's that know each other and work with each other behind the scenes via PM.
This is the biggest clusterfuck of a game I've played thus far lol.
imo the evidence that rdk and omar are mafia is pretty evident by all the posting they've done since the vote went back to even vs me and bonzai. they are obviously pushing to have me voted out now, that way the townies will never know if i was really the inspector or not. if they can do this, then convince the townies i was full of it, they easily win the game.
and no duddits not bitter. you do come off as suspicious since you act blind to ntell's posts/actions. why so hard on me after my edited post before knowing the rules yet you have not commented on ntell purposely breaking the rules trying to hide something?

You may vote, stay null, change your vote 8 times... As well as everyone else can. Do what you want overnight, but be comfortable where you leave it.
I will not close voting at any time without giving sufficient notice. And if there is still alot of movement, I'll say voting is 'planned to close' depending on discussion/questions..
ok, here is my response, plain and simple: i do not know who is guilty and who is innocent. no one at this point should know this except the mafia and the inspector (at this point they could only know one name for sure).
my reason for voting for bonzai is this----if i have a choice of voting off someone who is claiming to be a townie and someone who is claiming to be an inspector, i'm going to go for the townie.
as we can all admit, if ntell really is the inspector then he has a made a ridiculous move.
the 3 ways this can play out are: -they keep him alive to make him look guilty -they whack him tonight to silence him -in a few rounds a mafia member may come forward saying they are the real inspector and then we'll all be screwed.
the only reason i am inclined to believe ntell is actually inspector is because he has not claimed anyone's innocence. in my opinion when a mafia member is trying to trick people into thinking they are inspector, they usually call out a few people as innocents (which they obviously know who is who) to get people on their side. ntell is not doing this.
either way, i advise both of you (rdk/ntell) to hush for a hot minute and let others speak up.
at this point in my eyes, if you vote for ntell then you do look semi suspicious b/c you should want to save the inspector if you are a townie.

i see where you're coming from on this but some players could have busy real life schedules and not be able to contribute much.
I was making any suggestions about other motives. Just saying that many people have not shared much, so I wouldn't know how you could say that almost everyone thinks rdk is mafia.
I didn't know actually talking during a message board game was frowned upon, Ntell. I have said repeatedly I am not sold on anything, just that you have done more self-damage than anyone else.
And that deleted post is sketchy to me. Not that you even edited it, but flat out deleted it. You seemed to be baiting rdk into a public battle but erased the evidence.
Haha and here is where you tell me I'm definitely mafia, right?
One more comment for this evening players, since this is my first time as ref and can make mistakes as well. Going forward I will post a deadline that is mid morning, mid aft, early evening etc and will close voting in that time frame as appropriate based on discussion. If one or more players make vote changes a 8:59 tomorrow morning I reserve the right to extend the day.

Manardave, I think you are making the right decision, but I have one question, can you really make your forehead have 3 wrinkles like that guy does, because I have a shaved head and I barely have enough loose skin to make only one small wrinkle, let alone 3 large ones.
and yes FM you are doing an excellent job as Ref, probably best job so far, stern but fair, and very informative, up to date with all the vote changes, and active in the thread/game, by your post count, you maybe Mafia.

Ntellier editing posts is no better or worse than you editing a post. I urge all players NOT to do it. I disagree with Ntellier doing so, and I disagree with his strategy. I completely disagree with the way Ntellier started this game. I'm not siding with him, by not voting for him. I'm just as weary of him as I am of you. Just as other people have, I'm voting for bonzai because its the most logical choice this round, FOR ME, as a Townsperson. I'm not following Ntellier blindly.
I am just catching up and noticed I missed a whole page of talk. Either way, this double post was because I was typing from my phone before falling asleep. Laying in bed I looked to see what time it was, when I noticed my post was still on my phone, the post I just typed and sent, so I thought maybe I did not send it, so I sent it. Now, looking back, I see I sent it and it did go through the first time, making a double post.
RDK, besides calling you Mafia, which I have done, what has Ntell done, that looks Mafia to you? Why is Ntell not believeable to you as the inspector?
