I wish that I knew more about my plans for next year so I can makes plans too
The girls I went with two years ago will probably never go to Roo again. The kid I went with last year is definitely going again (it'll be his fifth).. but is planning on bring a whooooole lot of goodies to sell, so do I want to risk driving down with him?!?!
Besides him, there are certainly a large handful of "I am DEFINITELY going this year!!!" type people. But we all know that 99% of those types of people back out! When the regular tickets go on sale, hopefully I can get a better idea. Just a little over two months....
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
and by abra twice, she meant me and one of my buddys who isnt on here lol ;-P
You have friends off of here? Isn't that against the rules somewhere?
He has friends on here?
On another note, I am taking you all will be in RV GA. I am thinking about RV GA this year, although I do not have an RV, what does that matter. But seriously, there is a lot more room in the RV GA area. I do not mind the extra cash for that. (yes, my shit is together this year and wil not be a VIP repeat of last year)Would you guys like a tag along, maybe meet up before you go in? We could make a super duper awesome camp.

I just reserved a 30' RV for Roo. Picking it up in Duluth, GA on the 7th. The total was $910. They have only one more left... www.crusieamerica.com
If you call, punch in extension 7441. She had a special for half price milage, which saved about 60$. (it would also be cool if you let her know that I referred. I dont get anything out of it, but I am also in sales and appreciate the referral process. My name is Derek)
The 910 includes:
Rental, tax, insurance, all fees and 400 miles of driving. The only other things that will have to be paid are:
$500 security deposit that is returned when you return the vehicle in the same condition you picked it up in
$3/hour for running the generator.
And gas. The generator burns 1 gallon per hour. I am guessing at about 40 hours of generator use, which would be 120 and another 150 for the gas.
I currently have only one other person that is in, and I am looking to max out at 6. I will probably take someone with me, so that is 3 spots gone. There are 3 queen beds and one single in the coach.
PM me if you are interested. Looks like at 6 people, the breakdown including 40 hours of generator use will be roughly 200$ apiece, plus some gas for the drive to/from Duluth which I estimate to be 140 split 6 ways.
So all in, roughly 225 each unless there is some reason all or part of the security deposit isnt returned
anyone interested?
Watch how much you run the generator. Reason is the generator runs off only the top 3/4 of the fuel tank. When you get to 1/4 tank the generator will turn off, So check the size of the fuel tank of the RV you are renting. I also think there is a maximum of 10 gallons (in cans) that you can bring into the festival grounds.
It was a couple of years back that the couple next to us ran out of gas on Saturday.
The tank is 37 gallons, and I can bring in one 10 gallon jug so that should give us roughly 40 hours of run time. I hadn't even thought of that before you mentioned it though, but the math still works out. (hopefully - I cant stand that mid day heat...course I will be 36 @ roo...lol)
