When that time comes in 2012 a lot of people will be looking for rides... So here's a new thread just tell us where your from and if your offering or asking for a ride
Not to sound like a dick, but when it comes closer most people just make a thread (or use one of the older existin' ones) to say where they're comin' from and how many people they're lookin' to carpool with. These threads are great, and without them I wouldn't have managed to make it to Bonnaroo in 2010! But I imagine a general thread like this, especially as the festival draws closer, could become very convoluted.
I agree with Dan. will get too crowded and confusing in here to write all 2012 carpooling posts in here. Help is definitely appreciated though. I definitely recommend carpooling. Not just to save gas and have extra drivers to share the drive with, but cause it's a wonderful way to make new friends. I organized a caravan of volunteers and met some great "ROOmates"
