This is why I voted in a hurry this morning. I knew I had little time to get online today and wanted to make sure that I wasn't in that last vote position.
Damn... I really wish that there was an advisor that we could ask the opinion of. I voted Duddits only because he was the only one that seemed suspicious. Now, some people seem more suspicious than him. I feel like with only Duddits and myself in the runoff, it might be a lose-lose situation..

Bonzai I was just about to post the same thing. I'm a Townsperson and I get the feeling that you are too. If I change my vote to you from Phi I get out of the runoff (subject to anyone else's vote change)), but I feel like I'd be sealing the deal for a Townsperson's death (unless others changed their vote as well).
Quacker said in the last game that it is okay for two non-players to talk outside of the thread, but I'm not sure what the rule is for a player and non-player.
I don't think it's against the rules for a player and non-player to discuss the game and strategy. As long as it's done in a private (ie NOT on Facebook) way. FM and I are literally three feet apart most of the day and that is why we can't play in the same game. It would be impossible for me not to discuss the game with her and even though she rarely asks for advice I always speculate about the game with her. But I don't know any more about what is going on than she does. All I know is her role when she gets it and then I follow along and laugh at thread like any other lurker. Her discussing the game with me doesn't clue her in to any additional information because her role is the only one I know. All I can do is give her bad advice about what I'm thinking.
I think it is okay to talk to people outside of Mafia about Mafia, but just like Quacker and everyone else said, as long as it is not a recent whack/voted off player or on any other public forum that the current players could see or hear about.
I might be wrong, but I thought a 3 person run-off was better? IDK, seems more likely to get Mafia into the runoff with 3 than 2. If I am wrong, lets do a 2 way, if not Bonzai, since you have two votes and I suggested the vote stackers be in the run-off, who would you like in a 3-way?
i don't think it is against the rules to ask people who aren't playing what they think/would do in your shoes right?
it would only matter unless they know the roles of who is who and was giving that info up.
I thought you couldn't talk about mafia outside of this thread? Or is that only between players?
The way I see it is you can ask outside players for advice, but can't talk to other players anywhere but in the thread. This prevents any "alliances" from being formed under the table.

1. My mind is in the gutter with all this 3-way talk.
2. Actually, I wasn't thinking along the lines of a 3 way (although, I would be TOTALLY for that), I wanted to change my vote. But I think doing that would be shooting myself in the foot. I have drafted a "I'm changing my vote" post twice in the past 24 hours.

Id like to hear from both Duddits and Bonzai. My vote is not sold by any means I just wanted them both in the runoff.
What would you like to hear? (again a genuine question, not a d!ck remark). I found it odd that there were two votes for the same person in quick succession. So I voted for the person that stacked onto LD's vote. Is that really that suspicious??? I get the fact that I piggybacked off of Bomzai's post, but that was honestly because I was in agreement with her post, and didn't feel like typing out the identical post/reasoning, so I quoted Bonzai. Thats it, thats why I voted the way I voted. No hidden agenda.
And I'm not gonna vote for myself because I want to survive this runoff and finally effin win one for the Townies.
At this point, I will just be repeating myself. When I vote stacked it was because Duddits was the only person I was suspicious of and I wanted to get a vote in before I went to work so I didn't end up as the last vote. At the time, I didn't think it looked suspicious on my part. Over the course of the morning, I had pretty much decided to change my vote, but by the time I got back on Inforoo the backlash had started and I worried that changing my vote would do more harm than good.
I am a townie and I am worried that Duddits is too. It might be a lose lose situation, but it will definitely be down one for the townies if you vote me off.

Well, I can not think of anything, besides vote stacking that would lead me to think either of you are Mafia, Duddits only having 1 vote right now, that is interesting.
I find it interesting that Fawnmart stated that we was only voting for me because I was her vp round one, but then kept her vote and never referenced why.

Where has fawn been? How do all these people slip through the cracks? I suppose I should vote but really I don't have much to go on. Between Duddits and Bonnie I'm leaning toward Bonzai. Hoping other people will chime in.

Phi - no i am not the inspector. I've only had three roles in this game - lurker, townie, and ref. I'm a townie again.
Bonz, i did not expect to see others follow on my vote. Once they did I was reluctant to change. I dont know your role for certain. I'm still befuddled over phi being sure he wanted you and duddits in the run off and now does not know who to vote for. The quick stack in your direction concerns me.
