I don't think they are an easy band to get as they never played Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza before. They played Coachella in 2006 and got a very good time to play.
I'd love to see them in a late-night spot as well. Let's just hope they don't get Animal Collective'd.
forgive the newbie-ish question, but what happened with Animal Collective? did they get put in a small tent?
as an aside, this clue is inspiring me to pull Young Team off the shelf and blow the dust off of it. Its the only Mogwai album I've heard, but its never really gripped me. I'll spin it as well as some newer stuff on spotify soon.

They played a decent slot in 2004 too tried to squeeze some of the show in between the Lips and the Cure but it was too packed.

I'd somehow missed this: Really glad to hear about Mogwai - and placing them on Which in the early afternoon, like AC, would be a literal buzz kill. They're perfect for the Sigur Ros LN spot, and I think that's where they'll end up going. This is a great festival get.
