Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Question about tickets, are they like regular festie tickets where if something comes up (aka Bonnaroo's lineup somehow is better) I can sell them, or are they non-transferable/photo id required/anything weird like that?

got a few questions which have remained unanswered by Sasquatch's inforoo equivalent:
1. What similarities/differences are there between Sasquatch and 'roo? I realize this is a bit of a loaded question, but I've been to 'roo and just am wondering if I could expect something pretty similar.
2. How much was your one-weekend wristband including shipping +fees+etc? Seems like it's more than roo which is kind of surprising!
3. Do you think it will sell out soon? I prefer Julysquatch but my friend (who has a car, and I don't) is strongly leaning towards Maysquatch, which seems much less popular. I'm asking because Lolla doesn't announce for another month or so, and if they have Outkast and Panda Bear then we might as well hit that.

Thanks!
I have never been, but here is what I know from what I have read about it on here and other places:
1. Weather- It is fairly cooler at Sasquatch than Bonnaroo. Not sure what the July 4th fest will bring, but it should be a little more confortable than roo. Size- Bonnaroo has a lot more people attending than Sasquatch, so you will have a more personal experience at Sasquatch. Activities- Both have comedians and music, but there is more to see and do at Bonnaroo. Price- Sasquatch is indeed a little more money (especially if you are coming from the other side of the country), but look at it as you are paying more for a more personal experience than Bonnaroo as for attendance goes. Bands- Bonnaroo draws bigger names and is more eclectic, while Sasquatch draws more indie and up and coming acts. Festival Grounds- Sasquatch has a more scenic backdrop than Bonnaroo. I am sure at times it may feel like you aren't at a festival.
2. Never been, but like I had mentioned you are indeed paying more.
3.Sasquatch has been know to sellout quicker than roo. I am not sure if Sasquatch gives updates if they are on the verge of selling out. i would trust your gut as far when to pull the trigger to buy a ticket.
Ugh. That blows. Hopefully you haven't bought a flight yet.
No, only the ticket. I guess that's the silverlining. Jesus, I really wanted to go to the Gorge this year. First MOEMS, now this. I feel like the kiss of death. Sorry everybody!

Louisville, KY is real pretty that time of year, fyi.

That's what I hear..
I may wait for OSL to announce before pulling another trigger. But it would be between Forecastle and OSL most likely.
So ticket sales were slow? That's crazy given the lineup.
The Internet seems to think the headliners didn't have a wide enough appeal coupled with 4th of July being such a major holiday for families and stuff. Ugh.

I feel ya. I have been the grim reaper of sorts of festivals in the NY/NJ area (Field Day, ATP,APW,Siren, and Googa Mooga).
Pages 1-4: was people in near unanimous agreement that weekend 2 was still on with multiple posts promising to eat an actual hat if Weekend 2 gets cancelled. Mid Page 5: It's confirmed Pages 6-9: 85% of the posts are either all caps, full of the word fuck, or only a .gif. Page 10: Still a lot of .gifs and the a few people try to slowly rationalize it.
If you like Festival Schadenfreude that is a goldmine. This is sad for me as the July 4th weekend worked better for me to travel for future fests. Majorly bummed for everyone who was going to go.
One of the posters points out how the announcement puts it all on the people who bought tickets. "the fans have spoken" Like it was a fucking goddamn vote.

It doesn't surprise me a ton. I don't know what the festival has been in the past but last year it was a very young crowd, mostly high school and college students taking advantage of Memorial weekend. I'm guessing the majority of them wouldn't be very familiar with the top 3. Also many of the college students would go back home for the summer.
