Awesome. Battles absolutely had one of my favorite sets at Moogfest. "Atlas" is one of the heaviest songs I've ever heard live, especially with the way it keeps building and getting heavier.

At least he gave it to us now, this could have gone unsolved until line-up time when he would give us the answer along with the rest of them. We would still be mad then, but this way we know Battles is going to be there early which is great considering they were a definite on my want list.

The OP has a list of our guesses for this clue: GC liked the post and Battles is not on that list.

Edit: nevermind, I see Emoney updated to say that we have the right answer. I guess that why GC liked it. I just can't believe we went through all of this to still have it be Battles.

Note: I am not fully qualified to say "yay" about it being Battles because I'm not very familiar with any of their songs except for "Atlas," but I do love "Atlas" a whooole lot.

I now officially won't be shut out of the lineup predictions contest!
I also know basically nothing about these guys. Does it matter which album I start with? There's only two so I can't imagine it being that big of a deal which one.

The main difference is that the vocalist left after Atlas. There are still vocals on Gloss Drop, but they're of the sampled/guest variety. Some people don't like it as much. I think they're both pretty great. Either way, several of us saw them at Moogfest this year, and I am pretty sure everyone agrees it was an awesome show. Unless there's something pretty amazing against them, I will be at their show.
