this one is from way out in left field but.... Orpheus's poems centered on the Titans. A name amongst Orpheus (in the matrix) was Mouse. Modest Mouse's first cassette (yes on wiki it's listed as a "cassette") was "tube fruit: all smiles and chocolate."
Upcoming shows: Ryan Adams 1-25-12 Red Wanting Blue 1-28-12 The Black Keys w/ The Arctic Monkeys 3-??-12

Really doubting a high-billed act is Roo Clue #2, judging from past roo clues... Just IMO...

My head hurts.
No it was Morpheus in the matrix he had a son named Orpheus he accidently killed. And going back to the DC comics reference I was an avid fan of the Sandman in Dc's Vertigo line. The Furies avenged him for the worst crime imaginable kin slaying. There is DC comics references popping up all over here.

I am going to bed no I work third shift and was going to bed when this thread popped up c-ya in about 6 hours a cat nap and then see what other twisted convoluted mental paths will beset a sleep deprived me. Thanks for the mindfuck now can I have a Jeffrey?

Favorite Flavor.....Bonnaroo alum Flavor Flav? Not really sure where to go with that. All I could come up with is his real name William Jonathan Drayton, Jr. Can't connect directly to titans in anyway other that NFL player Drayton Flourence. Flourence + The Machine? WAY out there but worht a shor ha, head is definatly hurting at this point.

Dave Matthews has a flavor as well. I just thought of Cherry Garcia as a Dead/Further reference, but that would b e a stretch. I still like battles as the answer though.

Imma likin' this reasoning.
they were guessed before on the last clue and gary pretty much denied them. he said anyone mentioned on the first 5 pages was wrong. thats how they ended up with mogwai
Another way to interpret the Titans is the New York Titans, the name the Jets went by for their first 3 seasons. The only food related name I saw on the rosters those years was Jim Apple. Not seeing any apple varieties that make me think of any bands though.
