What is your reasoning for continuing to vote for me? You aren't helping the townies with all this mess. It's just hurting our chances of winning.
Are you just trying to keep your vote basically null but increase your post count at the same time? Keeping it open so you can bail a fellow mafia out?
no and thus why i changed my vote when i realized what my vote did.
Honestly, drunk mistake. Tuesday is trivia night at the bar with my friends.
WTF is going on in this game!
I vote we go back to players posting tallies when it's appropriate. I truly appreciate Fawnmart's help but she can't be here all the time. I seriously cannot keep up with stuff without them.
Not complaining about the Ref. He has work and Occupy stuff going on. But without tallies I can't make my nerd graphs and without them i can't find patterns.
Was responding while you were posting. I have to say that SFA and Bonzai have both been "quite" and despite SFA's claim that he was usually quiet in the first round he remains quiet.
That's not a claim and that's not what I said. I said, "I rarely say anything until the 1st round runoff starts." Which is true of pretty much every game I've played in. You played in the game where my girlfriend owned my ass, right? Do you remember the hints EAP gave when she was in the first round runoff as inspector? That's one reason I didn't say much. I didn't want to possibly rock the vote because it seemed a couple people thought the two of us might be aligned. I wanted to keep her "safe" in case she was the inspector.
Yes, it's true. Quite players are often Mafia. Loudmouths ones are too. The last time I was mafia I had close to 50 posts on a 13 page game that lasted 3 rounds. This will be my 13th post in a game that's already on it's 10th page before the second round runoff has started.
But the fact is, that really doesn't prove anything. I could switch my votes around 6 times a round if I wanted to. I'd get my posts up higher too.
We have no real leads. Just a bunch of paranoia and vote switches that aren't getting us anywhere. This is basic mafia strategy. Divide and conquer. And/or hide in the shadows let them eat themselves apart.
Also, I've asked questions that no one has responded too. You can't create dialogue with selective feedback.
And Surf, I'll make one more promise if you make one too. If I am mafia, this is my last game. I'll never play again. If I am a townie, you'll play with a lot more restraint in every following game (ie, not calling people out as you suspects in the early rounds) Deal?
Quacker called people out in early rounds and he's a pretty seasoned player. What's the difference?
Quote one post where I said I was sure that somebody was Mafia. I called people out for not posting and you were my first target. I even changed my vote to others who were quiet and you still were focused on me being Mafia. I don't think I've ever posted during any game and said I "knew" somebody was Mafia and didn't keep an open mind. And I still haven't said that I "know" that you aren't Mafia. You are just lower on my list of the likely suspects. Surfbum and Duddits are low too. But that's the fun in the game. At the end you find out if you've been duped or if you were shrewd. Keeping your mind focused on one theory in the game is a bad way to play IMO.
Damn, a lot happens while I sleep. I don't have time to pick apart posts at the moment (but I will), but I will say this for now: 1. Whomever said I am being quiet, I disagree. I think I have been posting a decent amount. The last time that I checked, the people that have posted more than me are all people that have been under fire so far this game or are naturally extremely vocal. 2.NoAge, I changed my vote after you asked someone to. Yes, you misspoke, but at the time that seemed clear to me what you were asking. While I was posting, you explained yourself, but I decided not to switch back for two reasons. One, a few people had casted suspicion on you already. And two, I figured if I switched my vote back, my name might get thrown into the ring with Quacker and Phi and their crazy vote changes.
Ahhh. I've been on here for WAY over my morning allotment of internet time. Must. Get. Ready. For. Work. 2. NoAge, I voted for you
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
SFA, you only have to go back to last game and the see the inspector was whacked the first night. Maybe not the norm, but it happens.
I never said anything like that. Go back and read my post. In fact, I've agreed with you that EAP either was or made strong hints to being inspector. This is like the third time you have misrepresented what I've said. I know I'm not the easiest player to read posts by but it's a little strange. Ask me if I need to clarify something.
I think Inspector being whacked is more common than you lead, but what does that matter? You seem ultra sensitive. Strange. You have mentioned only EAP as "hinting" or what I will call wording as to being the Inspector. Early on Surf switched a vote for EAP, made the runoff 4, to me his wording, was hinting towards him possibly being the inspector. Looking back and I see EAPs writing is on the Wall and brighter then when I read her post before her being whacked. My bad, you voted for Jham because he was a "quiet one", you switched your vote from EAP because you had nothing else to go on. I am not misrepresenting you, I am saying that reasoning does not 'hold water'. There was nothing else Jham had done that made you think he was Mafia over EAP, except being a "quiet one", I remind you, SFA and JHamm had the same amount of post. Why not just keep your vote for EAP?
Clarify this, EAP voted for you? Why you? She mentioned you were one of the only ones, left so she picked you, and there was nothing suspicious about that. half the players were still available to chose from, and now, are we not to think her choice of you as being suspicious?
SFA, "nerd Graphs"? Why can you not keep vote tallies on another "nerd graph", it can not be that hard to keep a running vote total next to your computer.
Sorry but been physically at work all day. Doesn't seem like I missed much.
Quacker>>>Bonzai
Inspector if you are alive it might be a good time to come out.
Spidey sense tingling...
Why did you vote for Bonnie? And I the inspector came out right now they would pretty much be guaranteed to get whacked, right?
I have a feeling the inspector has a different perspective and will come forward when it's benificual for everyone
Well I'm glad you asked. If we go under the assumption that Jhamm was a Townie then we are really screwed if the inspector gets whacked or voted off tonight. Obviously this also assumes that EAP wasn't inspector. It might (and I don't say does) benefit the Townies to know what name the inspector got and what the result of the first guess was regardless of whether it's a Yes or a No. Obviously it also benefits the Townies "to get an extra guess" if the inspector is lucky enough to avoid getting voted off or whacked tonight so that he/she gets the opportunity to share with the Townies what he/she has learned from their guesses. It's difficult for the inspector to live to tell what they have learned and each night makes it more difficult to live on and let people learn what they have discovered from their guesses. I just wanted to put it out there clearly in case one of the newbs is the inspector. I think Phi learned that coming out as the inspector to early is not good but it's also important to know that coming out too late means that you don't get to say anything which is why the Mafia want to kill him/her.
But also be aware that if you come out as inspector you will be grilled unmercifully by EVERYONE to convince the Townies that you are really the inspector and not a Mafia trying to bullshit everybody into voting Townies off and leading them from the trail of the Mafia as Mr Belgian Manders learned when he came out late. It's a thankless job.

It's like my posts disappear when I posts them. I've explained it twice already. Your theory on Duddits doesn't hold water if the mafia had already planned to kill EAP. It's that simple. I seriously wasn't even trying to make a big deal about it. Just pointing it out.
I'm always an emotional player. You should know this by now. When people bring my name up in a significant manner, I almost always respond. But guess what I don't do. Throw around peoples names as mafia in the first round willy nilly. Then stick with those notions despite all odds or without at least bringing up new evidence. Almost everything in your last post has already been discussed.
You have mentioned only EAP as "hinting" or what I will call wording as to being the Inspector. Early on Surf switched a vote for EAP, made the runoff 4, to me his wording, was hinting towards him possibly being the inspector. I must say I don't even know what point you are trying to make?? Are you saying you still think EAP and I are mafia??? Or that I'm denying that she could be inspector because I've said she could've been numerous times. So wait? EAP knows who the inspector is but kills herself so the inspector has another round? Why?
My bad, you voted for Jham because he was a "quiet one", you switched your vote from EAP because you had nothing else to go on. LOL at your fixation on one vote switch in a game of one hundred. Are you gonna call out any of the late vote switches from last night? I've already answered this as well. I put "quite one" in quotes because it was a hot button topic. I was being a smart azz. You really really get ideas stuck into your head to early in this game. If I was really trying to save EAP I could have voted for quacker and given a lot more reasons. The reason I didn't is because I agreeded with Noage that he was playing to risky to be mafia. EAP has never been mafia in any game I've played. And it's is freaking true. i wouldn't follow that mantra later in a game but for a blind vote. Why not?
And yes you have misrepresented my post several times. I never once called Jhamm Mafia. You've put those words in my mouth several times. I never said anything about the inspector not dieing in the first round.
Clarify this, EAP voted for you? Why you? She mentioned you were one of the only ones, left so she picked you, and there was nothing suspicious about that. half the players were still available to chose from, and now, are we not to think her choice of you as being suspicious?
You want me to clarify why a dead player voted for me on the first page? You reread the tread. Both of us brought it up because you made such a big deal about it.
SFA, "nerd Graphs"? Why can you not keep vote tallies on another "nerd graph", it can not be that hard to keep a running vote total next to your computer.
First off it was more of a rant then anything. Secondly, we wouldn't have a tradition of doing it if it wasn't helpful to look through the game and Know who's voting for who at the different stages. I don't even know what I have to explain this. You've said yourself that the running total of votes is hard to follow.
As for me, It's pretty well known on this board that I'm dyslexic. I'm a visual thinker. That's why I'm good at Photoshop and video editing. If you look at the last game I referred(42), I messed the vote counts up numerous times. Having the votes tallies up honestly does help me tremendously. Putting all the vote changes etc is also something I find helpful.
And Surf, I'll make one more promise if you make one too. If I am mafia, this is my last game. I'll never play again. If I am a townie, you'll play with a lot more restraint in every following game (ie, not calling people out as you suspects in the early rounds) Deal?
I was hoping Phi would vote before me so I could draw some kinda conclusion from that. I'm not positive we have mafia in the run off, Phi and Surf are looking more like mafia to me than anyone listed.
Noage - I'm thinking you are just trying to get people to believe you aren't mafia with this whole "I won't play again" thing and I think perhaps you and Surf and Phi worked this all out to make it look like you are voting for other people but at the same time keeping your distance from each other. When it came down to it I don't really find a whole lot to find you guilty of but I do find Surf and Phi the most guilty at this point and it looks like they are protecting you.

Abra>>Noage
I can see where you may be able to make a case for me protecting Phi, but I assure you that is just not the case. Protecting NoAge? Not hardly.
Take a look at the voting, and who I am vocally accusing of being Mafia. And who NoAge voted for and all of that.
I have no idea what to make of that bet that NoAge threw out there though. Do Mafia bets not count, because you can say or do anything to win? Or is he serious?
I can say this, if NoAge is NOT mafia, I will without a doubt be much less opinionated and accusatory in the next game I play.
And maybe NoAge is retiring from the game. 12 in a row is a lot... who knows.
I do know that Quacker and NoAge seem to vote together....
