Taking Surfbum out of the equation. His recent posts lead me to believe that he has been pretty open. If it ends up being only me and Noage in the runoff so be it. If anybody wants to throw in a third go for it. I'll leave it up to the rest of the Townies.
Quacker, if you do not want Surf in the runoff, than you can vote that way, but you just put a vote on a townie! I will give you time to rethink that vote.
I would need to re-rethink my vote because I already rethought it. I think I just took a vote away from a Townie and, being a Townie, I have no idea if I put one on another. But in my suspicion rankings Surfbum has gone down considerably. This leaves everyone not named Noage or Quacker up for runoff fun with one vote. Have at it folks or let it be.
Was responding while you were posting. I have to say that SFA and Bonzai have both been "quite" and despite SFA's claim that he was usually quiet in the first round he remains quiet. You,Scrog, have been pretty manipulative this game but you are usually that way anyway so it doesn't give me much insight as to your affiliation. I can tell you that my least suspicious now are Abra and Surfbum. Ironic considering that they were my initial targets. Everyone else's ass is up for kicks.

Surfbum, I didn't do that in expectation of you changing your vote. I did it because I was hoping that somebody else more likely to be Mafia would get in. I expect to be in the runoff and let the cards fall where they may. You may be less suspicious of me but realize that my "saving you" is one of those double edged swords you spoke of. Some people will think that we are both Mafia and we'll be more suspicious in there eyes. But there's not alot you can do about it. C'est la vie et c'est le morte.
SFA, you only have to go back to last game and the see the inspector was whacked the first night. Maybe not the norm, but it happens.
I never said anything like that. Go back and read my post. In fact, I've agreed with you that EAP either was or made strong hints to being inspector. This is like the third time you have misrepresented what I've said. I know I'm not the easiest player to read posts by but it's a little strange. Ask me if I need to clarify something.

Its funny, I was comfortable going into the vote and being in the runoff because I figured the townies would pick up what quacker did and vote NoAge off (or maybe quacker, but most likely NoAge). Now that I am not in the runoff, while I am relieved to be safe for now, the vote changing is weirding me out.

This vote swapping thing happens because people start getting antsy, they reread the thread and see new things. Not eveyone is playing all their cards by the way. They want to see what players they find suspicious are going to do....
But also, vote switching can also be vote manipulation by the mafia. As Quacker explained. Like I was saying to Bonzai last night. The mafia almost never end up in the first round runoff and when they do they very rarely get voted off. They manipulate through vote and rhetoric. AND as has been popular topic this game... staying quite and letting the townies destroy each other.
That's why I've never been a big fan of tons of vote switches in the first round. It's makes things harder to figure out. At least for me it does. Some people seem to like that method as it's gaining in popularity.

#1 - What would be the point of me voting for you if you aren't going to be in the runoff? I would have to risk someone else switching their vote, which I am not willing to do. #2 - You ask why I would put "a fellow mafia" in the running. Bonzai was the one who changed her vote after you went to null. It allows for someone to cast a vote without being a deciding vote. That makes me suspicious enough to change my vote. #3 - You are new to this game, seem to make strong opinions early, and are unwilling to compromise in your opinion. You would do better to change your strategy.
My opinion of Phi changed (there is evidence of that) and my opinion of quacker is also possibly changing.

But I am so convinced that you are mafia, its clouding my judgement in being able to believe anything that you say or do as honest.
