SFA, according to vote count, before this post^ you and Jham were tied with post at 4 each and one of your post was a shout out to LD to "Storm the Castle"(Go LD!!! ) I say this because, you are another "quite one", although you tell Quacker he should know that is not you, to me that is Jham. I do not remember him being very talkative. If he was it was when we were Mafia together, my first game. Phi you mentioned that one of the "pairs" were Mafia voting for each other, in the run-off there are only two people who fit in that scenario, you are not voting for either one of them. Do you really think Jham is Mafia? With all the Mafia are quiet talk, if I am Mafia, than I am talking. I am not sold on Jham.
Yes Duddits, I know you were just holding a vote and you know I was just voting for you because you voted for me, so if someone votes for me, especially to put me in a run, I am calling them out.

I'm not sold on anyone. If you look at the first page you'll see that EAP just randomly choose me within a minute of realize she had posted at the same time as SurfbumDJ, who voted for Noage. Whom EAP had asked to be voting partners. Which to me shows no motif. Just making a random vote. That lowers my suspicious at the moment.
So between Jhamm and Quacker i picked Jhamm. Not that I think Jhamm is necessarily suspicious. I simple feel more confident voting for him over EAP or Quacker at this time.

Scrog I certainly don't know why I wouldn't be whacked tonight but if I was going to speculate: a) I get voted off for stirring things up and will already be gone b) I don't get voted off but get left alive to look guilty by the Mafia I may have pissed off c) The Mafia will figure that I'm not Inspector and not worth taking a stab at (pun intended)

I think he will survive this round. He is voting for people who are quiet, as Mafia, I would post just to keep out of his radar. He now has others doing the same thing, although his reasoning sounds legit, because 'the quiet ones are Mafia', Noage you said that, but if I was Mafia,it would be easy to avoid him voting for me. It just seems contrived. I try to relate everything as if I was Mafia and if I was Mafia, that is something I could see myself doing.

not really sure what you guys want me to tell you. i've been playing the same way i always do. i maintain i never know who anyone is until at least the second round, after we have had some evidence. i haven't been super quiet, i haven't been accusing or protecting anyone.
i voted for noage, did realize that surfbum was doing so at the same time. changed to SFA b/c he was one of the only ones who didn't have a partner......don't really see what is suspicious about any of that.
i think you would be making a very big mistake if you voted me off.
and i'm not trying to make this excuse (b/c noage did last time and FOOLED me. meanie.) but i have been really busy this week due to personal issues and i've had a lot of things going on at nighttime, like PTA meetings and shows and since i teach i can't really check in during the day.
if you really believe that we are 3 townies, then you need to ask yourself who will be more valuable down the line. i believe i will. i may have made some major mistakes in the past, but i know how to look at voting patterns and other things which usually end up helping. like i said, i'm ready for the townies to win.....let me stick around!!

I saw Nurses about two months ago at a really small venue in Charlotte and they killed it. They are kind of like psychedelic folk; almost remind me of really early Animal Collective.
btw noage, i didn't catch the nurses b/c i went out to dinner with a friend beforehand...the mountain goats were good, but they only played about an hour . i felt kind of gipped. it was the first stop on the tour, so hopefully they will start playing longer by the time they get to you. they played a lot of new songs.
hahaha i just saw this. so the truth. i always want to be mafia. whenever a ref sends me a townie or inspector role, i always send back a message saying BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Personally I think EAP is mafia because of the verbiage that was used in his first few posts was suspect. I think I know another mafia too for a totally different reason. I do find the voting this round very enlightening.
I am a rookie so maybe the clues are more glaring to me. I have not played with any of you before so certain words his stil Out to me. There is a very "us and all you boys" undertone to EAPs posts. Could all the mafia this game Be women?...
Of the three in the runoff I find JHamm the most suspicious. I find Quacker a little suspicious based simply on all of the vote switches. I get that you want to stir shit up quacker, but you can also achieve that without casting a vote for someone, and then someone else, and then someone else. As a Townie, that just confuses me and makes me weary that we have a Mafia member just trying to muddy up the first round of voting for the sake of later rounds. I also think that if Quacker was Mafia, he wouldn't be as vocal as he has been. This leads to my vote for JHamm. He has been awfully quiet, and seems like he may have something to lose by defending himself on the chopping block. Maybe his silence/lack of defense is due to keeping others hidden in the votes thus far. Maybe I'm an idiot Townie killing off another Townie, I don't know. But that's my vote.

Duddits, forgive the partial quote but I wanted to address particular point and I'm glad you brought it up. I really don't think anything but a vote against stirs up the poop. It def gets people's attention. Obviously not everyone I voted for can be Mafia unless LD stuffed the ballot box. And I really have no idea if I hit on anyone. I didn't vote against you or EAP or Scrog or Noage or Surfbum or Phi. To tell you the truth I thought about switching again to one of you guys but thought I might get banned. I did call you and Scrog out for trading meaningless votes and contriving a disagreement about it. That's one of the things Mafia do to distance themselves from a fellow bad guy.
For the folks I voted against. I really have no idea if you are Mafia or not just like any other Townie isn't 100% sure. All you can do is suspect. Without posts there's nothing to suspect.
Bonzai get it? If the only reason you think that somebody is not that suspicious is because they have been quiet then lets all just have nobody post and have a lottery and hope that by sheer luck we eventually get all the Mafia before we kill off enough Townies to give them the win.
I want to see who I piss off, how they react and who they eventually vote for. That's the only evidence that will ever exist for any of us good guys. We need to give the inspector reasonable grounds for submitting a likely name or it will take too long for him/her to narrow down the guesses.
I agree that I'm shooting in the dark but that's the best I can do with what I know. I think the easiest way for the Mafia to win is if all they have to do is disguise their votes. It's more difficult to get away with being Mafia if you are forced to post to keep from getting voted off. It gives you something to go on. Knee jerk retaliatory votes don't tell you shit. Justification and reasoning is what I want to see because that's the most likely place to find flaws.

Why was it strange? It had no game changing significance? I said "sorry Jahmm, you are another quite one" because people being quite kept being brought up in the conversation.

I would not be shocked at all if all the mafia this game are women. EAP I def find suspicious and abra has been quiet once again just like last game when she was mafia.

When I was ref, I never closed it on a weekend, but as long as all the votes are in it's really up to the ref.
Im good with closing the voting whenever. I am more suspicious of EAP but it seems as though I am outnumbered in that, which is totally cool with me. Everyone else playing has played before so you guys know better than I do.
Bring on the Mafia's decision so we can smoke one or more of them out
OK, just to streamline the process a little - assume this vote total stands and then I eventually close the voting. Mafia, send me a whack and Inspector send me a guess just so we can be ready asap.
