Havent looked through it, but has anyone thrown out the idea of Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears?
That crossed my mind because of the "honey" connection, but they are on the list of bands on the Artist Confirmation Thread who have confirmed they will not be at Bonnaroo.

Savath and Savalas have an album called: Folk songs for trains, trees, and Honey. They are releasing an album in June of this year. Would fit the train and honey parts.
I really think that "cloth sack state of mind" refers to Buddhism.
If it does than.... In Buddhism, honey plays an important role in the festival of Madhu Purnima, celebrated by Buddhists in India and Bangladesh. The day commemorates Buddha's making peace among his disciples by retreating into the wilderness. The legend has it that while he was there, a monkey brought him honey to eat. On Madhu Purnima, Buddhists remember this act by giving honey to monks. The monkey's gift is frequently depicted in Buddhist art.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Also the buddhist deity Budai's name means "cloth sack" in English, and he's heavily associated with smiling and laughing so maybe that's the state of mind being referred to?
Not sure if any of that connects to any artists but perhaps it's a jumping off point?
Running with previous "trains" of thought, I think this clue refers to Railroad Earth.
The band's followers have been referred to as "Hobos" (cloth sack state of mind), and their first album was titled "The Black Bear Sessions" (black bears are known to enjoy the queen's delight/honey). They also have a song titled "Like a Buddha".

they're on tour with the black keys, both of which are playing coachella black keys live here in nashville and strangely their like 50 date tour doesn't include nashville

the tragically hip have songs with train and honey in the title (train overnight and wild mountain honey and honey please) and robb wells from the trailer park boys has been in several hip music videos and the movie hobo with a shotgun. trained: train overnight cloth sack state of mind: connection to hobo with a shotgun queens delight: wild mountain honey, honey please. i dont think i have the cloth sack state of mind part right but i feel like it could be them. they often tell storys in their songs so if anyone knows a better connection of the hip and hobos please say it

also dylan has songs train, hobos, and honey in their names: It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry Slow Train Freight Train Blues I am a Lonesome Hobo Only a Hobo Honey Babe Honey, Just Allow me One More Chance
I really hope this is not the answer cause seeing Dylan live once has come close to ruining his music for me

agreed, i saw him once and the Foo Fighters opened with an acoustic set they completely outperformed him
I agree with this logic. We know that "trained" refers to trains but I think that the indication is that the clue is refering to a "track" by an artist. I think we're looking for a song title.
Original clue:
Trained: a cloth sack state of mind. Savor the queen's delight.
I have said before that "a cloth sack state of mind" might be about going green by using the reusable cloth grocery bags.
We know that "savor the queen's delight" has to do with honey.
So, if we found a track about green honey that might be our answer.
The Melvins did play Bonnaroo a couple of years back...

good idea, his use of the colon after trained could help support this

Could it possibly be 7 Walkers? Trained could refer to one of the world's most famous trains the City of New Orleans, which is the city 7 Walkers took inspiration from for their album, and is also the home of Papa Mali and George Porter, Jr. Cloth sack state of mind represent a transient or a "walker." The honey connection could refer to the Grateful Dead dancing bears, tipping off to Bill Kreutzmann and Robert Hunter's involvement with the band.
