"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"
Kimya Dawson? She is originally a part of Moldy Peaches (Garden). The quote comes a from a character called Ramtha, Ramtha is a school of enlightenment in Yelm, Washington. Kimya Dawson is from Washington and is a part of K Records which is in Yelm. Its a stretch, but it fits.
it's about a stray dog, obviously on stage played by a person, brought home by a man to his wife. There is a part when the owner tells Sylvia to sit and she says: " I think you're god!"
it got me to thinking that dogs think that their masters are god. (and also have a tendency to dig up gardens and dig holes in the ground)
and that got me to thinking how the wife in the play teaches shakespeare. There is a famous shakespeare play named "Titus Andronicus" which is also the name of a band from New Jersey (the garden state). but i'm pretty sure that band already denied playing roo this year?

The play part is really sound logic, especially because the part of the clue, "I think you're god." is in quotes.

That makes a lot of sense. However, it doesn't make a lot of sense for Titus to be there. Their newest album will be 2 years old by the time Roo 12 comes.
This could be a bit of a stretch, but The Antlers have a song called Sylvia (which ties in the with second half), and deer are sort of monstrous dicks and eat everything from your garden as if you offered it to them. Not great logic at all like WTT or Miike Snow, but a possibility.
Taking the Ramtha from "I think you're God" one step further, she appeared on a song called Living Gods by an electronic band called iTom Lab. The name of that album is The Crop Circle of Life. Just sayin...

they're working on LP3 now, so they have new stuff to play.
edit: but apparently they've been confirmed not to be on the farm.
Can someone quote to me or link me where Titus Andronicus was ruled out? I looked into the Artist Confirmation thread and all it linked me to was where they said: We have long thought that playing at Bonnaroo would be pretty cool, but it is not entirely up to us. Maybe ask them? which was over a month ago.
I don't think Titus Andronicus is the answer by any means (the reasoning is too much of a stretch IMO) but unless there is somewhere else where they 100% denied their appearance I don't take that above statement as total ruling out.
Bruce Springsteen is also on tour and from Jersey but looks like he's in Italy on June 7th and 10th, that'd be a stretch for them to come back for 2 days...
Lotus is a flower, grows in a garden. A Flying Lotus pertains to buddha sitting on a blooming lotus, which many thought was a manifestation of god. "I think you're god!"
Offerings from the garden makes you immediately think of the apple in the story of Adam and Eve. We know the offering isn't an apple, but it could point towards an offering of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve represented all humans so this could mean a human offering.
"I think you're god" sounds to me like the worshiping of a false prophet.
The Jonestown Massacre was really a mass suicide. A human offering that happened because of a false prophet.

black lips?
so....
the clue is from the ramtha quote. the quote in full? "Do I think you're bad? I don't think you're bad. Do I think you're good? I don't think you're good either. I think you're God."
the "do i think you're bad/i don't think you're good either" piece of this quote made me think along the lines of "what is not good or not bad?" and then i remembered: the black lips have an album called "good bad not evil." a stretch but stay with me...
the album title "good bad not evil" is (according to wikipedia) a reference to a song by the shangri-las. shangri-la = garden-like utopia reference?

I don't see how any of that would point to black lips.
um... what part? i mean it's a stretch but with only one hint anything seems fair enough to mention.
True. I was just confused how you got to Black Lips from all that. That ramtha quote somehow points to a song by a band that isn't Black Lips. How did you get Black Lips form that?

Brian Jonestown Massacre
i thought the same exact thing but tied it to cults instead
Long shot here: I googled just "I think you're god" and apparently in the movie What the #$*! Do We (K)now!?, Ramtha apparently says "I think you're god" Ramtha is a spirit channeled through a woman named J.Z. Knight. So maybe it's Jay-Z (who is also co-owner of the New Jersey Nets)
