Hints *The garden offerings are not apples *Not Chicago, not New Jersey. "The garden" isn't a city or state. *The offering is not a fruit or a vegetable. *You can find the garden in the core of the big apple. *No sports affiliation as far as I know. *"I think you're God." is a bit more theatrical. *The offering is not edible
Uhhh The Roots sound pretty good and they're already quasi-confirmed. They have a song called "Dear God" and their latest album talks about going to the "otherside". That's about all the similarities I can think of right now though.
Or maybe it's just me wanting The Roots really badly.
Googling that exact quote returns results dominated by the teachings of some ancient warrior called Ramtha. And an author named J.Z. Knight heads Ramtha's School of Enlightenment, which follows all of his teachings.
Not quite sure where to go from here. But I imagine the quote (especially considering it's supposed to be an exact quote) is referring to something relating to J.Z. Knight and/or Ramtha.
All I have for that is two things...J.Z. = Jay-Z and Knight is from New Mexico, as is Beirut.
Might be a little bit of a stretch but Kanye the name means "Let's Give." Giving could be the offering, and as mattydzlx already mentioned that quote is from a JZ Knight. Watch the Throne maybe?

The city of Chicago's motto is "Urbs in Horto", which is latin and means "City in a Garden". If Kanye means "let's give" and he's from Chicago. then.....
Offerings from the garden; "I think you're God."
"Let's give" (Kanye) from the "garden" (Chicago); "I think you're God" - J.Z. Knight
Plus Jay's nick name is H.O.V.A: Jay H.O.V.A = Jehova

It's probably Watch The Throne.
solid logic, but if those two were touring again this summer I feel like there would be more rumors about it
We're getting Watch the Throne. I think it's a done deal! Honestly, c'mon...
I hope so... As much as I have hated Kanye (and myself) for making me stand in that pit for 5 hours, I loved that Jay Z show and I wouldn't dare pass on the epicness of a Watch The Throne show. Jay Z could teach Kanye a thing or two about performing at festivals...
at the time it meant nothing to me but anyone think we should read into this? garychardonnay: Trying to write another #rooclue and I'm having a mental block....
