I ordered Bonnaroo: What, Which, This, That, The Other and have really been enjoying it tonight. Did anyone else order a copy? Did any of your quotes make it in the book?
Yeah, it's full of quotes from fans and artists. Really nice to read some of this stuff right before the lineup drops. It's like an extension of Inforoo.
We just got ours in the mail today and was surprised how nice it was. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I was impressed although i was expecting it to be a bit bigger since they kept calling it a coffee table book. I really liked reading all the quotes and stories and there were so many good pictures. I love those couple of pages by the comedians with all the Roo jokes. I wonder if those are old jokes or did they do it specifically for this book?
My one complaint is no pics or quotes from the Avett Brothers. There my favorites and with as many times as they've been there it would have been nice to see them included.
My favorite quote is on page 189 by Kerry Black of Superfly about Daryl Hall and Chromeo. I couldn't have put that show into words any better.
EDIT: I guess it would be nice of me to share the quote, huh?
"Daryl Hall and Chromeo was a hallmark Bonnaroo moment. We paired up two artist who had never performed live together. My original idea was to have Daryl play his set and then have Chromeo sit in for a few songs, with Chromeo continuing with their own set. They were both so excited about the project that they decided to learn each other's songs and do the whole show together. The tragedy is that we did not end up taping the performance, but in a way it is almost fitting, as it is one of those great moments that will live on only with the people who were there."
UPS delivered mine yesterday...but I didn't get a chance to open it up. I thought about bringing it to work this morning but it seemed inappropriate to view the pics & reminisce...while sober!
So are ther Camp Inforoo pics in it? Because last year there was an official Roo photographer in Camp Inforoo and I still didn't see those pics.
There doesn't appear to be any pictures of the Inforoo brunch, but there may be. The pictures of fans don't have any captions, and I don't know what you all look like in real life.

If I am in there, the horns and clock will be a dead giveaway

I'm so glad I ordered mine! I was expecting a nice keepsake, but was pleasently surprised on the quality of photos/quote! definitely a coffee table book.
I've heard it's only photos of the douche-tastic frat crowd and a few super-wooks from 2011. There's also a fold out of Ashley Capps rollin' around in cash flippin' the bird.

Thanks! I was trying to figure out where it came from. That was my first foray into gif making. I laugh at that part every time I watch Stop Making Sense.
edit: I've ordered several of these and can tell you that this is more than 50% off total. Bonnaroo sells them for $20 and shipping/tax has been anywhere from $8-$12 depending on location.

Wow this is awesome. Going to order it when I get home later today. Thanks for the link. Great, great deal here. I can wait a month for it.

Thanks for the heads up! I just put in my order. I'm super excited...I'll be even more excited when I've forgotten I ordered it and then in April my magical book arrives.
