There was plenty of Ozzy Sabbath shows without Ward though. The lineup varied quite a bit. The '97 Sabbath tour had the Faith No More drummer instead of Ward. Only the Ozzfest '99 tour had the original four uless there was one I didn't know about.
Iommi is the most crucial one to see, as he is dying of cancer right now. Gotta get him off the bucketlist.
Hopefully, there will be footage of "Sabbath's" Birmingham show this weekend up on the internet next week. I could very well make my decision based on seeing that. I love the undercards for this festival, but they're not worth the ticket price, hotel, flight, and everything else seeing as how it won't be hard to see most of them in the future or am already going to see them at other fests. We're seeing two of the other headliners this weekend at hangout. Basically if Sabbath falls through the three big draws for me are At the Drive-In, Afghan Whigs, and Sigur Rós. And I'm almost positive that there will be an ATDI / Sigur Rós conflict sunday. I could channel this $1000-1200 towards Coachella next year. I'm gonna hold out for about a month before making the final decision, but I am seriously butthurt about this.

I know the 2005 Ozzfest had all of the original members, and I think 04 did as well but I am not 100% on that one
^^ agreed.......Ozzy+Iommi is the crucial mix......f'n Geezer too. Do we know who is drumming for Sabbath yet? I thought they were playing a show this weekend in the UK.
Does anyone need my hotel rooms? We have decided to go to Bonnaroo and voodoo instead. I have 2 at the Embassy Suites in downtown. Price is $199 per and that includes the tax. I have 2 rooms, one room is for Fri, Sat, Sun, and the other is for Fri, sat. Email me at juleholAThotmailDOTcom
REALLY want the schedule to hit pretty soon. Not going to Bonnaroo left me all out of sorts the last time I skipped out (2010) and this year is no different. I need a schedule to stare at...

I do not understand the GIVERS hype. Standard hipster band. Glad to see NOLA bands get some popularity but they do nothing for me. I've seen in em in a room with like 20 ppl too

This is possibly the least conflicting schedule I've ever had at a festival. I only have one real conflict (Sigur Ros/Gaslight Anthem), but that's an easy pick. Nothing like Conflictchella this year.
