Also voted for Radiohead. I've never seen either band but what I have seen of Phish on the tubes looks like they have a mind blowing light show. What I've seen of Radiohead, not so much. So I say liven that one up with some eye candy.

The visuals this tour have been amazing, although admittedly I've partaken in some visual enhancers so maybe that helped just a little.
Anyway, I don't think I've ever been a part of a glow stick war but I sincerely hope it doesn't ruin the stage visuals or the overall experience. Count me among those that thinks this sort of stuff belongs in a rave environment, along with "Holi Powder" and all that other stuff.

I personally was really bummed that Radiohead lost this one. I was really hoping to get hit in the head/back/neck with a bunch of plastic poison-filled sticks during my favorite band in the worlds performance.
I never got the whole glowstick thing. Why not just watch and enjoy the show? I saw people seriously putting more effort and energy into collecting giant wads of glowsticks than they were putting into having a good time.

But they're having a good time by collecting the wads of glowsticks. So they were putting effort and energy into having a good time.
It's just not the same kind of good time that you or I would put effort into.

It's a fun thing to do at phish shows, for some reason. I love doing it. With that said, I wouldn't do it at any other show. It's just one of those things.
