They were killer last time they were there. I have a conflict unfortunately.
It seems very odd to me that as a died-in-the-wool metalhead and child of the 80's/90's, my biggest 'Roo conflict this year is Damon Albarn, Cage, and Grouplove... ....of course my second biggest conflict is Ice Cube and Mastodon...
I cannot wait to go crazy at CtE's set on Saturday!! Who's with me!?
I have been a luke warm fan for quite awhile and never really gave them the time they deserve. I was able to catch this stream and became hooked. I cannot wait for this show. I am not much for getting up close, but I may go for it with this act.
I really like that Come a Little Closer song. Shit's my jam.
Lead singer has a brief interview that runs on Alt-Nation (Sirius XM station) occasionally where he talks about the motivation(s) for writing it...I'd hate to mis-quote, so I won't attempt to paraphrase, but I would encourage you to use some search-fu and listen to it

Listening to their latest album was an aberration. It is so much better than their first two. They finally found a consistent production sound rather than a haphazard mash up of styles.
