I'd like to RSVP for the brunch. I took a little hiatus from Inforoo after the lineup was announced, but I'm baaaccckkkkk. What should I bring? I don't cook, and I'm not crafty, but I'd be more than happy to bring plates, napkins, bags of candy, etc. Is there anything that someone has NOT volunteered to bring to we'll need? I want to contribute!

Bags of ice are always appreciated! As would be water, plates, or even just a bag of chips.
I will make a good faith effort to break my long-standing rule against meeting internet people in real life and attempt to attend my first brunch. Well, I've had brunch before but not with Inforoo folks.
I was considering bringing hand grenades but you can't buy grain alcohol in Virginia. Anybody know if they sell Everclear in Tennessee?

So yesterday while I was at work I was explaining to people that I was going to spend my next two days off making and freezing four batches of cakepops for Bonnaroo. And one of my employees suggested coming over to help me. Naturally, I jumped on that and told her I would love help (Four batches equals about 200 cakepops, and each batch takes about three to four hours) As soon as I got off work she drove to my house and watched me bake a cake and licked the bowl clean. She watched me crumble the cake into a bowl and add icing and she ate the parts of the cake I didn't use. She did legitimately help me shape all of the cake into their "pop" form. She watched me coat each one with chocolate and ate three before they hit the wax paper...."quality control" she called it. Then she left...
I don't think she helped.....I think she might have been a sneaky con artist.
This is the one night stand of the baking world.
...and so goes the story of my life. Your cake pops and my 'Roo cupcakes will make for some boss brunch items

I am coming, and I'm excited to meet some community members! I will bring something savory, but I won't decide what that is until I do some shopping down there. . . I may bring 1 or both of my co-campers, but they aren't committing yet. . .

I'm doing roo with my nephew again this year. Some met him. He's a non-practicing member named Kangaroo. I've also got a buddy from here in Austin who's been to many a roo, but not a member. My beloved nephew is bringing his buddy who will be our virgin. Can't have a proper roo without a virgin. I expect that they all will join. I know that the boy will want to catch up with some folks.

I'd like to RSVP. It's time to check out the brunch finally, and put faces to some screen names. Not sure what i'll contribute. Plates and utensils i could probably get in my suitcase. Or something i can get at Roo, like ice or water. A week from today the magic starts!

Okay, I've decided to make Red Beans and Rice. One pot will be vegan and one pot will have andouille sausage.
YES!!!! I was going to make vegan red beans and rice, before I decided they'd probably not make it 2 1/2 days of travel, etc. without getting yucky. SO HAPPY!

Really? Isn't that like- a terrible idea? I wouldn't care at all, the more the merrier! But after all the b*tching and complaining about them getting a late night, you don't think ONE intoxicated member of our brunch would say something?
