Is there any specific east coast beer I can bring that's hard to find in Tennessee? I know there are a lot of hard to find microbrews out there in the US...like Pliny The Elder from California for example (google it)

^ that's some good stuff. But I don't know if they make it in can form! Ugh, didn't realize the glass rule would ruin my plan. Anything in cans that's hard to get? Or perhaps back to the drawing board... :/

Btw, does anybody have any requests for anything that's available in upstate NY? Or anywhere between here and Roo, for that matter...I'd bring something from around here that can't be found everywhere if I could think of something good, but I feel like most of our regional foods would be pretty impossible to bring to brunch. (Can't think of any way to transport a fish fry or a Charlie's hot dog!)

I think I said I might be, but I'm confirming +1 for my participation as my wife got a new job (which starts Monday after Roo, that should be fun) and will be able to join me this year for the first time since 2008. Still not 100% sure what we're bringing. The bananas I brought last year seemed popular, but Ash has hinted at baking something to bring with us so possibly homemade goodies too. We'll bring something.
Any of y'all going to Alice Cooper's show on Saturday night, please make note of her face at the Brunch. If you see her attempting to sexually assault The Coop, she has successfully ditched me and made a run for it. Please tackle her.

Grandma Brown baked beans. I've never seen them anywhere except central NY

Oh, you've opened a can of worms here. If I have to hear my wife rave about Grandma's Baked Beans one more time....

Hey now! That's not very nice. I'd get you an autograph

Whoa, REALLY? It never, ever, occurred to me that you couldn't get Grandma Brown's other places.
Hmmm....I wonder how I should do this...can I like, bake them ahead of time and try to reheat them in the sun or something? And/or, would cans of them survive the weekend if I brought you guys some cans to take home? HMM.

Not sure where upstate you are but if you have half moon cookies in your neck of the woods that would be pretty kick ass!
I will make a good faith effort to break my long-standing rule against meeting internet people in real life and attempt to attend my first brunch. Well, I've had brunch before but not with Inforoo folks.
I was considering bringing hand grenades but you can't buy grain alcohol in Virginia. Anybody know if they sell Everclear in Tennessee?

So yesterday while I was at work I was explaining to people that I was going to spend my next two days off making and freezing four batches of cakepops for Bonnaroo. And one of my employees suggested coming over to help me. Naturally, I jumped on that and told her I would love help (Four batches equals about 200 cakepops, and each batch takes about three to four hours) As soon as I got off work she drove to my house and watched me bake a cake and licked the bowl clean. She watched me crumble the cake into a bowl and add icing and she ate the parts of the cake I didn't use. She did legitimately help me shape all of the cake into their "pop" form. She watched me coat each one with chocolate and ate three before they hit the wax paper...."quality control" she called it. Then she left...
I don't think she helped.....I think she might have been a sneaky con artist.
I think I'm going to try to make it to brunch. I'm arriving early Friday morning, so it just depends on what time I get in and if I've got my stuff set up yet. I'll probably bring along some kind of baked good or maybe some chocolate kiwi popsicles.
