You you were renting a RV onsite you would need general admission tickets if going general admission and VIP tickets if going VIP. No RV pass required.
Can any of you kind folks who stayed in an on-site RV in VIP tell me whether or not there was room outside of the RV to set up a small outside hang space, like an ez up with some chairs and a grill table/bar?
Thanks,
We did not stay in one of the rented trailers but since we also stay in VIP we walked past several times. To answer your question, yes there is space outside between trailers. My best guess is 10-12 feet between them. Note that the rental company nylon ties the awnings closed so bring your own shade for sitting outside.
Interesting. I sent an email to onsiterv@bonnaroo.com back in February, asking about the shade awning. We're flying in and I didn't want to buy/haul an awning if I didn't have to. I was told, and I quote, "Your RV does come with a canopy that extends out from one side of the RV. Let us know if you need additional information."
I really don't want to buy an ez-up in TN that I'll have to leave behind.
Does anyone who rented an on-site RV in 2012 care to chime in with their experience? I see the positive reviews from 2011, but haven't been able to find any reviews from last year. Before plunking down the cash for this year, I just want to make sure it was still worth it and service quality hasn't gone down!
From my observation in VIP the RV rental definitely looked more organizer then the previous year. There was staff at the information / check in booth and there was someone attending to the pumping and fresh waster filling.
Good luck with your findings. Even with owning a RV it looks like the way to go vs renting and driving one.
