Please do your self a favor and go see the Cloud Nothings on this tour. You will be blown away. They played in Atlanta last night and I feel fortunate that I was able to witness something that great. The band does these freak outs that will just leave you in awe. It needs to be witnessed in person to be believed. I've been screaming for Thee Oh Sees to play Bonnaroo. Their psychedelic energy would be perfect for Roo. But all is not lost, we did get the Black Lips, which is going to be killer.
I talked to the Cloud Nothings lead singer after the show last night and told him that the performance was almost to the level of Thee Oh Sees. He took it as I huge compliment and said Thee Oh Sees are his favorite live band.
I think there really is something speical about Dylan Baldi, the Cloud Nothing's frontman. He is just a kid and to be making music like that just boggles my mind.
