I use the Lobo and its perfect for me. It holds 3 liters but its their smallest pack. Has a few small pockets that are good for hand sanitizer, wipes, cigs, travel sun screen, etc. Since its not bulky its still easy to maneuver through crowds and dance with. Its not big enough to hold multiple pairs of swim trunks and several shirts however.

If possible, I'd go check one out at a store near you before buying. First, they change the names of the 'models' fairly often so it can be hard to compare apples to apples. Even when they don't change the name, often the features differ from year to year.
One of mine is great for Roo (and I have no idea what model it is) because it can expand to handle a boatload of crap but the compression straps let you shrink it back to down to tiny size if you're only carrying your fluids and couple misc items like a phone, keys, wallet, etc.

i dont know much about the alpine explorer. i use nalgene, platypus and msr products. msr is the most reliable but most expensive. my pack is a nalgene and its held up for 10 years, not bad!
$39.44 shipped. Specifically designed for women. Holds a TON of stuff. There's a great video review. I shopped around quite a bit and for the storage space and price (and camelbak brand specifically) it was the best deal. This same pack is on zappos for $65.
^I have the Day Star, too. LOVE it. Tons of room for stuff. Pretty sure it'd fit a 100oz bladder (comes with 70oz) and it should fit on a man. There is a pocket on the bottom for a pull out rain cover. It is perfect for things you wouldn't want someone else to find if they were to search your bag.

My first camelbak! YAY!!
Nice! Amazon?
I got my last one at a local Sports Authority. They overcharge big time.
The one I am getting is $75 on Amazon, and SA charges like $150.

ive got a cloud walker, its got a little bit more space then you would probably need but its light and sits nicely on the shoulders. you can also remove the water sack pretty easily as i do quite often

that site also has a Rim Runner for $75-80... its got a 100oz bladder and retails for $115.
does anyone have any experience with North Face camelbaks? I have the ability to get the Crank 25 for about $50 (retails for $115), but I'm not sure if it's as great as a real Camelbak model.
I've decided on the Alpine Explorer 100 oz model. It's a step up from my old 70 oz one.
Although I will probably bring my 70 oz bladder too.
Thanks for the replies
I will be upgrading to the Alpine Explorer this summer as well. Did a lot of research and I've had multiple Camelbak products, never disappointed. Just feeling like I need more gear room is all. The H.A.W.G. has been my favorite out of all the Camlebaks I've had, dependable and tough. Full of water and just enough gear space.
