Hows it going fellow 'roo-ers Heres my question, many of us LOVE beer-i think that is pretty obvious- im heading up to Manchester with a few friends this year that are underage (shh dont tell!) just wondering if anyone has gone in the past and had a problem with getting busted for underage drinking or do cops just not care? please help some bros out!
I believe that it was actually a figurative usage of "bros," unless he was implying that he and his friends are literally siblings with every member of this forum.
Now comes the first helpful response of the thread: I've never been, but I've been gleaning as much information as I can from this forum, other resources online, and friends who have been. I can tell you that once you are inside, unless your friends are very obviously too young to be drinking, you shouldn't have a problem. Even on the way in, if your friends are bringing beer with them and have no one of age in their car, again, as long as they look like they could be 21, Bonnaroo staff won't care (unless the beer is in glass, in which case it will be thrown away). The only possible hiccup there is if their car gets chosen for search by police. Police might be more inclined to ask for ID and do more than just throw away the beer if they are underage. Not every car gets searched by police, but it's a risk to be aware of. If possible, make sure someone 21 is in each car you take that has alcohol in it. If that's not possible, then I'm sure your friends can figure out a way to be stealthy. I know I've walked around with a "12-pack of Pepsi" while underage and around cops, and they've been none the wiser.

I'm underage and I always bought beer in centeroo. As long as u dnt look 15 ur ok. Theres over 100k people, would u id everyone you saw drinking or buying a beer lol. And growing a beard doesn't hurt either lol
Last year my 2 buddies and i were under age and they triend to tell us we had too much alcohol entering the farm and we would have to throw some out(2 cases each and a plastic bottle of vodka), then my friend in the back got out and they said "oh, we didnt see him you guys are good!" haha they dont give a shit about age, just quantity. And ive seen girls that look 15 buying beer... they dont expect people to have id's wearing nothing but a bathing suit

This! I got randomed last year. I was good but the high schoolers behind me were not so lucky.
If you don't act suspicious, nervous or stupid then you should be fine. I have been carded inside of Centeroo before but only once in six working on seven years of going to Roo.
I dont promote underage drinking but be aware that cops on horseback do patrol but they also are not trying to ruin your good time. Dont act like idiots dont eff with anyones stuff and most important dont drink to much remember you are in like 90+ degree heat and your dancing and walking don't think you will be able to pound yer beers like you do in your friends basement...Last year the ground was littered with with young'uns who could handle it and not that it isnt funny drawing penis all over there faces. I for one dont want any fellow rooers going to the er for heat exaustion or alcyhol poisoning... or the police station for being an idiot. Have fun and pace your self...Please..
