This is my first post and I've tried looking everywhere, but I can't find an answer anywhere. I bought an RV pass and my plans fell through with the RV. So, i was thinking of renting a Uhaul trailer to use the RV pass. Do they have separate parking for trailers or am I going to be parked next to RVs. I wanna be able to get the larger camping space, but I don't want the generator fumes helping me sleep longer than I need.
also 2nd trip to the farm and can't wait. Bonnarooooo!!!

I'm pretty sure you'll end up with the RV's. Instead of renting a small U-Haul, why not rent a small pop-up camper? In '09 our RV neighbors came in with a large crew and had a tent set up in front of their RV where a couple of them slept. Can't say for certain, but they didn't seem to mind so even if you go the Uhaul route it might not be so bad. Personally, I'd get off of the fence though... if you're going to camp then camp and if you're going to RV... then get one.
Another reason to consider just camping is that my experience with RV spots at festivals is that they're a tad less "social" then group camping. Certainly not always, but RV parties tend to stick to themselves more. After all, the whole purpose of bringing an RV is to have a space to 'get away from the madness' a bit... even if it's just sleeping and showering. So if you're going to be solo, you might have more fun and meet more people by tenting it. Just my two cents.

I camped in RV last year with some friends and their RV. Unfortunately they were a bunch of wet blankets who didn't want to leave the comfort of the RV. When they did all they did was complain and I don't want to experience that again. The best time I had was when I went off on my own and made new friends.

Exactly why I'm going to a couple fests alone this year. It took me awhile to figure out, but I'd rather go alone than go with people who can't/won't appreciate the experience the way that I do. I'm done babysitting and being responsible for other people's good time. Some people get it and some don't. If the people who get it, can't make it, then I'm solo and finding new friends that weekend.

I could be totally wrong but I seem to remember that Uhauls weren't allowed.
You are correct, box trucks are not allowed.
