Thinking about doing one or the other this year. Never been to either. Just looking to get advice and wondering which ppl who have been to each prefer.

Me too. Should have gone to bisco last year, one of the best lineups I have ever seen. I was not thrilled with the electric forrest lineup this year. Though bassnectar there would be too good.
I have a feeling bisco is going to be naaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzteeeeeeeeeeeee....... feeling.
i went to bisco last year and it was awesome. it felt like they oversold it a bit though, and this year they are capping attendence so it shouldnt be a problem. the biscuits play 6 sets over the weekend i think (might be 7). the lineup last year was awesome and if its even close to last years this year ill be back. also it doesnt hurt that Albany is only 5 hours from Buffalo . im also debating between Bonnaroo and Electric Forest this summer, Roo has once again dropped the ball on electronic. Skrillex being the top billed "dj" is a huge turnoff for me.
forgot to say: this year they are doing camping a little different too (bisco). you have to pay for a 25 dollar car camping pass if you want to camp next to your car. they have a limited number of them and once they sell out you will have to park in a certain area and then bring all your stuff to a camping only area (like tent-only at roo). this is new this year so we will see how it goes. hope atleast some of this was helpful!
Bisco is definitely the best festival I've been to. With that being said, I've never been to EF. Still, if I had a choice its going to be Bisco everytime.
The lineup this year should be awesome, its only been getting better each year. Speaking of which, anyone know when that might be droping?
Bisco lineup is out this week. Last two years have been pretty good, let's see of they can keep it up. I know they had FlyLo in '09, maybe they will bring him back this year.

Apparently it was released this late last year too. Business as usual for the biscuits, be late. They showed up half an hour late to their scheduled half hour set on the sonic stage in 2010

i think the EF lineup this year is amazing. i've been to Rothbury before, but the friends who also want to go to EF with me this year have never been. all we needed to see was the initial lineup and we were sold. String Cheese, Bassnectar, Thievery, STS9, Big Gigantic(LOVE their new album), Beats Antique, EOTO, REGGIE FREAKING WATTS, Dumpstaphunk, Gary Clark Jr, Balkan Beat Box. I don't know which part of it is a let-down for y'all, but it seems pretty rockin' to me.

In addition to return appearances by Skrillex and Bassnectar, this year's event will feature DJ sets from Amon Tobin ISAM, Shpongle Presents The Masquerade, A-Trak, Dada Life, Mimosa, Daedelus, Simian Mobile Disco and Bonobo. Live sets by Crystal Castles, Big Gigantic, Lotus, Holy Fuck and Brothers Past will round out the bill.
That's alright why make a thread for a fest you're not even going to. I'll make one while I should be paying attention in econ class, but not til the full lineup drops
