I will be holding this open today due to the Radiohead concert. I was alerted by PM at the start of the game that many of the players would be offline today/tonight due to the show.
(As it stands i have no action to take, however if there are vote changes that puts someone in the lead, I will not close the vote today/tonight.)
I am a long time lurker, and having just read through the last few games, I have to say, this game is awesome. Please let me know if you ever need another player. Was a neurosci and psych major in college before I switched.
I stumbled across the arcade and mafia yesterday. Prior to this I had stuck with What, TML, and that, but I have been hit especially hard by the roo blues this year and have been spending more and more time lurking on inforoo.

well as we can see by the stalemate, someone is going to have to have to change their vote.
to be honest constanza, i didn't see you as suspicious. that said...i am not dead set, but i'd have to have a pretty good reason to change my vote since you voted for me to begin with in the first stage of this round.
Well, the only reason I voted for you was because you posted including yourself with the townspeople, which might be something a clever mafia member would do. It was flimsy, but it was early in the game so it was all I had to go on.
The two options for surf are really that either Scrog is mafia, or someone is trying to frame him.
I really do not think I would continue to vote for scrog if he and I were in the Mafia together... don't you think we both would have voted for you if that were the case?
Well that would have been a good plan in the regular voting, but in the runoff round there would be too many ways for it to backfire. Either way, I've got no idea. Mafia are playing it smart this game. Fuck.
it is kind of hard for people to be switching around now, it will only look like you are saving someone. this is weird though, i don't remember there ever being a stalemate like this. hmmmm........
Pretty easy explanation. I'm the inspector and I was trying to lead people towards Nick or to at least force other people to switch votes around so I can narrow down the 3rd one.

Sorry everyone. With the way the first round ended, you really didn't have much to go on if I were to get whacked in night 2. I didn't feel I could take the chance to risk another round. At least we got two names.
Looking back I think we can be fairly certain Scrog is innocent. I'm sorta leaning that way on CST as well. Although, as last game proves, mafia can/do put other mafia into runoffs. It's usually when they are trying to distance themselves because one is drawing suspicion. I don't think the mafia felt any real threat to vote like that this game.
BTW, I was giving Phi name and guessed Nick on Night one.

But what I cant understand is.................WHY? How does this ensure the game for the mafia this early by doing this? Even if you manage to have me and nic (who im just assuming is also a townie since you would give away a fellow mafia memeber) you are still left at a disadvantage of 4-3.
Wait, since you are doing this, I am going to assume it was VERY VERY likely superbek was also mafia! You guys started at a disadvantage in the game!

Hmmm well I was drunk last night when all this went down and I changed my vote but hey, what the hell. Also I think if Bek was mafia the mafia gods would've had us restart the game so the Mafia didn't start off to a big disadvantage. Only thing that worries me is that unless they wanna play it cool, SFA is about to get whacked.

Your remorse for changing your vote is interesting. Call it women's intuition or whatever, but I'm growing more and more positive that CST is the 3rd Mafia.
Only thing that worries me is that unless they wanna play it cool, SFA is about to get whacked.
Of course SFA will be killed tonight and he knows that. The only reason Mafia would spare him is to make HIM look like Mafia, which wouldn't make sense because if you fake inspector and you're mafia, you would definitely kill yourself to look credible. Not killing him wouldn't be "playing it cool", it would be "playing it stupid".
SFA, if you somehow live through the night PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask about CST as the third mafia. I've gotta hunch here. We are so winning this one.
