Your remorse for changing your vote is interesting. Call it women's intuition or whatever, but I'm growing more and more positive that CST is the 3rd Mafia.

This is the second time in your last two posts that you mentioned that bek being mafia is nonsense. The only person to say that Bek was mafia was Phi. Phi is mafia and I think by you saying the same thing twice you are trying to distance yourself from him. I'm on to you CST. Phi isn't doing a very good job of coaching you. You should've stuck with "playing dumb".

And I want to reiterate that Phi was the only person to say Bek was Mafia. Pretty sure everyone can see right through that. I can see you being adamant if someone agreed with him, but no one has!!!
I'm thinking SFA is legit Inspector this game. My vote stands for Nick. Also, we need to pay close attention to who gets whacked in Night 2. If Phi is the 2nd known Mafia, the Townies are gonna need to be very active in trying to pin the third Mafia member down, especially if SFA gets whacked in Night 2.

Actually I thought I remembered him saying he thought you and duddits were mafia in that same post about nic and phi but that must've been someone else earlier in the game.

This is true but this game has been a tad weird overall anyway.
I probably jumped the gun a bit saying that but if you look at my reply to Phi, I was going off of what he was saying and narrowing down suspects according to the votes. Look my opinion on who the 3rd mafia is in no more important then anyone else. I'm just as in the dark as the rest of the townies. Being the inspector I've had a little more knowledge along the way. Go back and read the game knowing Phi and Nick are mafia. That's how I narrowed down the list but I could be wrong.
Also about Bek possibly being the third. I'm not so sure I believe that but if it's true then the mafia have no reason to whack me.

None of these three are outrageously suspicious, but I'm slightly suspicious of CST. He played the "newb" card at the beginning, but his last couple of posts sounded more enlightened, like he might be being coached.

Well yeah obviously the unfortunate side of things is that there are a lot of ways to prove that someone IS mafia but not many ways to prove they're not. I did play the newb card, so to speak, but only because I was new to this version of the game, I actually used to play this game in high school at parties in the form of a card-based drinking game, so I'm familiar with a lot of the strategy, just not the specifics of a proboards version of the game.
I think the 3rd mafia is staying silent right now. I'm taking some heat, so the 3rd mafia member keeping their mouth shut (lookin at you, scrog ) is pretty much the perfect strategy.
Looking back, Phi was the one who put me into the runoff in the first place. I don't think he would have done that to a fellow Mafia member.
It's not true that he wouldn't have done that to a fellow Mafia member. Mafia do it all the time. But let's use your logic to think about whether or not Scrog is mafia:
Scrog's only voted for Nic except one vote for his voting partner in the first round (Surf). Surely Nic & Scrog would've changed their votes off of each other to keep them from BOTH being in the run-off.
Does that make sense?

Well I do not think Phi would stack a vote on a fellow Mafia and put them into a run-off that already had a mafia player in the run-off, Phi's vote for CST, put two Mafia into the run off. With that being said, CST if you think I am Mafia, you are Mafia! As for the post by SFA calling PS as possible 3rd Mafia, along with EAP and/or Dubbits, was only a page back, not hard to find.

Anyways scrog as I said before the more that comes out, the less suspicious I am of you. You were staying silent for awhile which is pretty much the only reason I remained suspicious of you.

Then Phi posts this... which hints that it's the mafia that have been making the mistakes the last couple games when in fact the mafia have won like 6 in a row and it wasn't by being tight lipped.
The last two votes in the 1st round were towards mafia members and they were made by CTS and Lowerdeck. That's why I don't really find either of them suspicious. Remember, this is BEFORE any of us knew the first round would end the way it did.
Looking at this the mafia were targeting Scrog and CTS. They were also trying to buddy up to Lowerdeck....
well the only thing surf did was vote for scrog. i dont know whether thats cause scrog is mafia and since he voted for him they whacked him thinking he might be the inspector, or if its because the mafia just wanted fingers pointed at scrog.
i dont want to vote for scrog cause i want to see a runoff. and after reviewing the other votes, CST you're reasoning for voting for EAP seems very weak to me, and thus suspicious so id like to see you in the runoff also. i wont be voting partners with you this round sarah, but you can keep your vote for me if you'd like.

Then Duddits chimes in and places a Known member of the mafia into the runoff. At this point in the game their is no real stratgic reason to do this from a mafia standpoint. +1 one for Duddits likely being a townie.
Without the Mafia knowing who the inspector is, they usually want to try and whack the inspector ASAP. While doing this, Mafia usually want to try and set someone up as well. Now, if Surf voted for a Mafia member in Day 1, it doesn't make as much sense to whack Surf, because that would bring attention right to the Mafia's doorstep. More likely is that I think Surf voted for a Townie, and the Mafia whacked him and may try to use his whack against Scrog, or maybe Sarah questioning how many times he's played before.
I don't know, there's really not much to go on here.

the only flaws i see is that a smart mafia, would employ some of those exact strategies you are saying......why not make it look like a "townsperson" buddy up? why not call out your own mafia?
i would hope that whenever i get to be mafia, i would try and think outside the box and be tricky...but maybe i am giving them too much credit??

My point in being so vocal yesterday was to get people talking. Being subtle about raising suspicions of someone didn't do anything to elicit a response so I took a more direct approach. I was getting frustrated that it seemed like I was being ignored and no one was talking at all. I had direct questions that I asked of people that still haven't been answered.
Has LD forgotten that he's playing Mafia? He's posting all over the boards just not here. He is the only one that hasn't chimed in since SFA outted Phi & Nic. This isn't normal LD, is it?
