I was looking for past weather data and this is what I found. The closest cities that I could find weather data from Smyrna and Nashville International Airport. So 2002 to 2008 data is from Smyrna, TN and 2009 on is from Nashville International Airport. Looks like 2007 was the hottest followed by 2011. This is all from the The Old Farmers Almanac Weather History Website. If you know other sources let me know.
I do have this in a spreadsheet so message me your email and I will send it over to you.
2002 Minimum Mean Maximum Observed at Friday 6/21/2012 82.4 85.6 87.8 Smyrna, TN Saturday 6/22/2002 66.2 83.1 87.8 Sunday 6/23/2002 75.2 81.1 86.0 Average 74.6 83.3 87.2

Last year was my first year. I didn't think it was that bad. I'm from St. Louis, and spend a lot of time in Florida. I kept hearing/seeing everyone say, "The humidity is so bad, blah blah" It's nearly the same summer weather as St. Louis, (going by feel, not actual data).
All I see in this chart is hot. We all knew it was going to be hot. The only variable is rain. Your logic is mutemoot. It is going to be quacking hot.
I disagree. I can tell a big difference in the hottest years. How often I leave my camp during the day is a big indicator for me. I saw almost no daytime shows in 2007 & 2011.

I sleep during day or lounge. I don't leave camp til probably until 7ish unless I really want to see someone. I never really notice hotter years. They all feel the same to me, unless it decides it wants to be 100+.
And thanks I would have went rest of my life saying mute instead of moot. Learn something new everyday.
Looks to me like we're due a nice weather Roo. I'll take the 2009 temps again please, thanks!
I remember in 09 we were able to sleep in the tent until like 10. And it was a crowded tent. My husband and I had our two older children and I was pregnant.
It was nice. I told my husband not to get used to it. The next year he went and we were out of the tent at 8.
