If you choose the payment plan, do you have the option to advance payments & complete it early if you happen to have the money, like with a bill? Has anyone ever gone this route before? I'm mostly choosing the payment plan to secure a ticket and plan to have it paid off within a few weeks -- don't have all the cash at once. Thanks!
If you can make the payments early why don't you just exercise a little self control and hang onto it until the scheduled billing date? It's not like the quicker you pay for the ticket the quicker you will get to Bonnaroo. Just set the money aside until they take the money out.
Thanks guys! I have a lot of automatic payments that come out of my checking so often times it's easier to budget when I can get this kind of stuff out of the way immediately. I'll be doing that. Thanks again!

I opted for payment plan again this year. My original plan was to wait until closer to the fest to get a ticket but because of ticket sales and me realizing how bad at putting money aside I am, so I'll let them force my hand. I had the hundred to do it Sunday so I said eff it. I might try to bang out the April payment early just so I don't have to worry about it later.

The payment plan is the only reason I'm going. It's been nuts for me financially this year so I'm super grateful that they have the option. This is the first year I've used this option though. Any idea when they actually take the money out of my account?

There is a schedule of the payments on the website and they follow it pretty punctually from my experience. Make sure you have the money on whatever card you used every month because they do have the right to have you forfeit whatever money you have already paid even if it is only the final payment you have missed. I dealt with this last year while I was in the process of switching banks around the time of the final two payments. One payment wasn't taken from my account on the day it was supposed to be so I called whatever company they had dealing with ticket issues and it was resolved without issue, but again make sure to keep an eye on it to make sure they do in fact take out every payment to ensure receiving your ticket without issue.
It comes out at 12:00am friday, by the way, so if payday is friday make sure you have enough in your account thursday night before bed. And if there isn't sufficient money in your account, they cancel the ticket and keep all your money, so make sure you pay close attention to when it comes out!

To those on the PP, don't fret if you don't have the money in there one day. MusicToday will not cancel your ticket. They'll just tack it on to the next installment.
I think the last payment date is the last day you can make up all of the payment before they cancel your ticket. This was the policy last year for the pre-sale PP in June, so don't quote me on it.
Best to give them a call if you miss a payment(s).
"IMPORTANT: If, for any reason, any of your payments are declined, in whole or in part, then all of the following will apply: (i) your order and your tickets will be cancelled (ii) any payment received as of that date will be kept by Bonnaroo as partial offset for your default, (iii) you will still owe the balance of the full amount due for each ticket and you authorize Musictoday and Bonnaroo to charge your credit card for any balance due, (iv) Musictoday and Bonnaroo will be entitled to pursue all of their legal and equitable remedies to recover the full payment from you, and (v) you agree to pay all costs of collection incurred by Musictoday or Bonnaroo, including legal fees, that they may incur in collecting the balance of each ticket price. Payment plan tickets are subject to all of the other terms of the ticketing agreement."

Yes, it said that last year as well and they still were very understanding. They know things come up. Most importantly, they want as many bodies at Bonnaroo as they can.
So good to know. That would be really harsh if they cancelled your ticket. My buddies are on the payment plan too. Awesome! Thanks so much for the info guys ;D
This is the first year I've done the PP....was wondering how I had to make the payment, but they just sucked it out of the account.....too easy.
My bet is once you opt for the PP, then you are going to pay the extra five bucks....let them wait and take it on schedule....just make sure you leave that much in the account for them, and all works.
As CSTNZ said, "It's not like the quicker you pay for the ticket the quicker you will get to Bonnaroo."

When I got the email saying they were mailing them starting today for fully paid orders, I had to try and rush it....I need the wristband to get fully excited about all of this....grin.
I checked Bonnaroo's help, and all they (an official employee) could say was call them. Seems inforoo knows more than true roo...

The Official Rep on the site does leave something to be desired. I was hoping it would be better this year, but no dice. Thanks for posting the instructions on there.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one. Didn't have all the cash up front at first, but as soon as I did, I knew the quicker I paid it off, the quicker my order would be processed and shipped. I have one question about the payment plan if anyone know the answer. Since I bought mine pre-sale and have paid in full for my ticket, but bought my girl's during the general sale and haven't paid her's in full, would they both arrive at different times? My logic says yes, I was wondering if since they both have the same address, would they ship them together?
"We will start shipping Bonnaroo 2012 wristbands in May to the shipping address on your order. Paid in full orders will be shipped daily throughout May in the order in which the order was placed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has left our facility. "
Notice "Paid in full orders will be shipped..."
My bet is they don't send them until they are paid...the reason I searched back through the posts to find your instructions....they were spot on.
That's not to say they will not hold up your wristband until the other is paid....it would be nice if they let us in on this stuff, but...
You can pay your remaining balance. I do not remember how to do it, but im sure you can google it, I came across it one day when i had to pay one of the payments due to insufficient funds (also answering the other question). They dont take your money, you have something like 3 days to pay for the payment. They send you an email with instructions on how to do so.

It wasn't so much as three days to make the payment as it was three days to make arrangements for payment. Had a car issue come up, and they tacked the missed payment onto the next one.
Oddly enough I'm in the same boat as I was this exact same time last year and can't pay on Friday. Called them up and asked if this payment could be tacked on to the last payment. Her answer: "Uh-huh." When I asked what I was supposed to do to make sure my order wasn't canceled, "Just let it decline."
While this should make me feel better, I am not very comforted.

I forgot my bank sent me a new card, I forgot to update my info and my last payment was denied. I got an email immediately thank linked me the "Check your order" page and it just said "Amount Due:" and with the amount of the payment. The email said I had 48 hours to correct billing or order would be cancelled.
FWIW, if your payment is denied they don't cancel your order right away.
