howdy guys. I've been lurking/posting around here on and off for the past two years. my first roo was in 2010. i started lurking around here a month or so before that to get the information that i needed to survive my first roo. Once i left the farm, i signed up and became a member as soon as i got home. For "lent" i decided not to give up anything but to give BACK to my favorite community in the world...the bonnaroo community. I decided im going to to start posting around these parts more often.
with that being said...its officially bonnaroo season for me. I cant stop ranting, raving, thinking or talking about it as i slowly count down the day until i take the 18+ hour drive (i'm coming from central jersey) to good old manchester tennasee to attend the most magical place in the world (thats right, suck it disney world.)
my question is how are you coping with the pre-bonnaroo anticipation? maybe we can help eachother by giving eachother ideas
I have a group of 8 going and we're thinking of having a t-shirt design contest. My buddy wants to make it mandatory that each person bring a tapestry for our shade setup, gives everyone something to work on...
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.

Make it to as many local shows as you can.
Mingle with us on here.
Start gathering and starting your Roo pile.
Mingle with us on here.
Make an effort to discover the acts on the lineup that are unknown or lesser known to you right now, as these may end up becoming some of your favorite shows at Roo this year. A good way to do this is through Spotify or Youtube, or your local record store.
