I realized that I'll probably be flying solo this year, so carpooling might not be a terrible idea.
If any of you kids want to get together and annoy each other for about a 12-hour drive, let me know. I'm in Fayetteville, so I have to drive through most of the state to get to Roo anyway which means I can pick-up/meet-up just about anywhere along I-540 or I-40.
I'm on the eastern side of Memphis and will be camping with my Bonnaroo camp-mate from last year, a girl from Indiana.....I got lucky when I found her....we get along well, usually go our own path during the day, but it's nice to have someone there when you get in at night, or go looking for you if you're missing. Her husband went the first year, but didn't like it....so she goes alone but doesn't like to camp alone.
If you are interested, we have two sides of the large center canopy open....just bring your tent.
We plan on meeting on I-24 in Murfreesboro Wednesday day so we can get in and be relaxed for Thursday....since you are coming through on I-40, we can caravan over from Memphis.
Might do that! I might end up taking the plunge into Camp Inforoo this year, but I'll keep you posted on what ultimately happens. I may luck into a local group between now and then or something.
Just wanted to let you know that I just bought a "Shade Tech" (same company) straight leg 10x10 instant canopy from Big Lots (Red). In my reading, I found that the straight leg is larger than the slant leg (the slant leg is actually 9x9...the feet are 10x10....pretty crappy eh?
I paid $69 for it at Big Lots (that store had two more)....

PS: I have an older style 10x10 that I used at roo the last two years, but it takes like an hour to set up and is a royal pain in the butt, but it is in good shape.....you can have that one for free..

I think I am going to end up going!!! Selling my Roger Waters tickets at Wrigley and going to Roo. However, I can't get off work Thursday so i won't be head until Thursday afternoon. I am coming from North East Ark and have room for whoever....flying solo!

Hi all! Me and my buddy are both volunteers post festival at Wakarusa in Arkansas on June 4th and 5th and then are looking for a ride over to Bonnaroo!! We wont be free til June 5th around 9PM but after that we are willing to anything we have to in order to get to Roo!! Almost anything. Anyway, if anyone is looking for the company of two guys who perpetually emit good vibes, look no further! We are happy to pitch for fuel costs and whatever else!!
