Hey there! This will be my first Bonnaroo and I can't wait! I'm going to be going down with one friend. I'm from Vermont and I think I'll be flying down (or worst case taking a 28 hour Greyhound bus haha).
First off, we plan on getting in the Tent Only area so when should be the best time to get there? Should we go like Wednesday night and wait it out in the airport? Because it says the gates open wed night but the shuttles start thurs morn. Or get there as early as possible thursday morning? Since we're flying our packing is limited. Whats the best way to pack, like a sports duffel or what? I'll have my camelback which im gonna wear everywhere.
Then what should I bring for drinks? Just load up on bottled water? I was gonna bring some gatorade packets or drink mix and that sort of thing. But how can I keep them cold? If I bring a cooler, then where do I get ice and whatever.
I plan on bringing a tent as well as an EZ-up. Also in the tent only site whats the best way to keep my stuff safe? I obviously wont have anything valuable and what I do would be in my camelbak and with me all the time.
I'm probably going to have many more questions as time goes on, but I'm very excited for my first rooing!

Not to sound like a jerk, but look around a little and you'll find most of the answers to your questions. You not alone! Almost all the questions you asked have been answered and are on threads near the top of the page.

Hey WildRice, I'm a native Vermonter too!! Why fly? I flew last year and I'm so looking forward to driving it this year. I can bring so much more. If it's a lack of ride maybe we can arrange a carpool situation since we're so close!
But when I did fly I brought a single backpack. I have no idea how you'd get an EZ up and all that poop on the plane. Just sounds like so much hassle. Maybe forgo it and plan on being at Camp Inforoo to share the shade and bring something cool for everyone in return.
Also later in the spring when we get closer to Roo, the Helping Hands thread should pop up... many of us driving down have extra camping gear that we bring for those flying in as well as food, water, beer etc. I have done this a few times for flyers and it works well and you make some great friends!

My flight leaves St Louis at 8:50 stops in Chicago, then off to Nashville airport with a Wednesday night arrival at 11:50pm. I will catch the first shuttle out Thursday morning.
Did the same thing last year, a night in the airport is easy peasy. there were like 15 other people that did the same thing. There is this little coffee place in the mall that i slept in, they have couches and soft chairs you can sleep on.

I have been trying to find a thread about the details, reviews, pick up/drop off location of the shuttle from the Nashville Airport. Does anyone have experience with this?
