Hey there, this is my first Bonnaroo and my girlfriend and I are taking the greyhound from NY. I just wanted to know if anyone is going the same way as well or if anyone knows how the trip would be. If anyone else is taking the greyhound i'd be cool to spilt a taxi to Walmart after the ride and then to the festival. I kinda ish sortv know what to expect cause I went to Coachella and camped last year, but any feedback would be appreciated.
p.s. I've lurked around and read the thread about that bus from NY already lol

i had some friends come from ny on the greyhound a coupleof years ago. they said the trip wasnt so bad for them.Just very long. they made some friends with other intended rooers on the way. & there really isnt any need to taxi to walmart. the buss lets you out at a gasstation/waffle house that is only about a mile from the gates. hike it if you can (that would be much faster than everyone elses wait in line) or you can hitch, make friends to camp with. Tons of people stop there for gas/ice or a last civilized meal & restroom) otherwise there is normally a privately run shuttle there to take you to the gates. it was $35 three years ago...not too sure anymore. good luck & happy roo'ing!
