While on another message board I am a memeber of yes there are other boards then Inforoo. Someone came up with an awesome idea! Those small pepper grinders at the grocery store are just perfect for grinding coffee once they have been used up just wash them out and throw some beans in there! Re-purpose and re-use! And we will thrive unlike the dread wook savages! My mom has this huge Turkish pepper grinder and I am sure that it is usually referred to as a Turkish Coffee Mill. Might not get the grind you want per se. However Camping is not all luxury. This is kind of a stop gap measure for those who want a fresh grind but will compromise a bit on what they are gettting. $4 or so for a grinder with pepper you can use until Bonnaroo and then a cheap grinder no need to pay $50 for an REI widget.

I prefer instant coffee myself at Roo. High Quality? No. But it gets the job done and is quick and easy. Starbucks instant Ice Coffee is perfect because you can throw it in a water bottle with no heat and it tastes pretty decent

The only useful thing to do with instant coffee in my opinion is to put it on Vanilla bean ice cream.
Don't get me wrong I hate instant coffee. I will not drink it any where other than music festivals. But it is higher quality the most of the coffee you can buy from the vendors at Roo and it is very quick.

I've been using a sea salt grinder for about two years in my backpacking trips. The little disposable McCormick one. Really nice fine grind if that's what you want.

A little honey, some dry (or no fridge) creamer and instant coffee....not a bad start to the day for a caffeine nut, and it all stores without ice or hassle...
I am a coffee drinker (I drink multiple cups if it's around), but I have never once drank coffee at Roo... personally brewed tea, maybe, but never coffee... doesn't sound fun in the Tennessee sun.
