Yeah that was an awsome stretch of wall. When i posted that pic I'd forgotten how big that stretch was. Note the ribbons and daggers at each end. Here is all of it in order.. But that badass screw character was my favorite part.

BNDT....what year is that CAMEL pic? He's local...and judging by the style i'd say last year but i didnt see it. I've got a few pics of his stuff from around town.
And that ET....by Riet. He's untouched around here as far as doing characters. Absolutely the man. Its funny though because typical of artists....he said he wasnt really happy with how that came out at all, lol.
CAMEL was last year inside Centeroo - If I remember correctly he didn't start putting it up until Sunday morning/Saturday super super epic LN last year. I came back Sunday night before things were closing up to get that one when it was done.
The best part of Riet's piece is the Space he added with the ET, and his lettering is great. Though I wouldn't really criticize - I don't think I could do something that detailed
There were a few good ones this year, but the wall art seemed like it was severely lacking this year compared to previous years. It was mostly people writing stupid crap. I don't know, did anybody get any pics from this year of ones I missed? I really only saw a couple good ones just inside the arch with the Indian. I think there were a couple other decent ones there too. I was going to make some stencils, but I never got around to doing it. I'm really wishing I had now... next year.
It all starts with scribbling. I enjoyed the heavy participation - I would rather that then last years situation. Please understand this folks - paint is frickin' expensive & Bonnaroo does hire a few artists but can't hire a fleet of people. Also 2009/2010 was a high point for them with that but I remember the 2007 pieces being highly stenciled and tag heavy too. To each their own.
^^^^ see if I was that artist id be pretty unhappy someone threw that up over my piece. There are ways to add to something without defacing most of it and spraying "damn kids spray painting all over my wall " is not a constructive addition to someone's art work IMO
btw, roonectar - I feel ya - it sucks having someone buff your work (or put stickers on top of a piece you haven't photographed yet!). But it's kind of the rules of the game - and you can't take it personal kind of thing?
